Best water youve ever had!
I know these things are expensive, but how much is your health worth? Ive used these devices (I have 3!) for over 20 years now and they are worth every penny! Once you taste this water nothing else will do, it goes through your system and removes toxins as it winds up in your bladder, you will see and smell the garbage it removes. Makes the best coffee and tea imaginable and once refrigerated, its unbeatable for thirst.

Review
I love this machine. I rarely write reviews but thought I could add a couple helpful hints to this. I am on my second machine. The first lasted years and years. It eventually burned out. The carafe has changed immensely since the last one. This one pours well and doesn't dribble half away like the old one. You will need to buy the Kleenwise powder. It does a great job and lasts a long time. When the cycle is done I store the water in half gallon glass containers in the refrigerator. It's easier than the big carafe. One very helpful hint would be to not let it completely finish the cycle. When it is about an inch from the top, I unplug the machine. Pour off the water into containers and clean the unit. Since you left about an inch of water it doesn't get as crusty and fused which makes cleaning much easier. I only us the powder about every 5 cycles. Otherwise I just clean it with a long round brush and fresh water while it's still warm. You don't need to let it cool down before taking off the lid. It isn't a pressure cooker! Just aim the lid away from you because it is hot steam. The sooner you clean the tank, the better. I also think that stopping it short of it's cycle might prolong it's life. When my old one failed, it was one of the few times I wasn't around to stop it before it auto shut off. It was dead after that. Maybe coincidence, maybe not!

It came defective Beware look at pictures
I never seen a distilled machine make water like this every time. I wanted to exchange they said it was my water and would not exchange it. I had one just like this I used for years made the best water and didn’t burn on bottom every time you made it. Please beware if they exchange it I will update review. 😔

Runs perfectly, but awkward electric cords
Makes a tank of water in just over 3 hours. Can be refilled and run again in a few minutes. The wait is to let it become cool enough to remove the top without steam coming out and burning you.Makes more noise than a fan or a hand-held hair-dryer, a little more that a blender, much less than a vacuum.Works well and should last for a decade or more. I've owned two previously. I bought this one because I gave my last one away.Had a little trouble with the silicone gasket around the top. It kept shrinking up so water leaked out. But it finally stretched enough to stay in place and the leaking stopped.I contacted the seller; very helpful people. They sent a new gasket, but I suspected I might not need it so didn't use it while waiting to see if the original one would stretch out. I am sending the replacement gasket back. The cord is 33" long, at least a foot shorter than I'd like. It limits where you can put the distiller if you don't have an outlet every 30" along your countertop. It is much too stiff; it will not make a close bend such as around a corner, if that's what you need it to do. It is much stiffer than the cords on all my other appliances, even the cords on my big microwave and my shop vac. I'd say it's about twice as stiff as my industrial-type (orange) extension cords. If you want to coil it up and tuck it to one side, the smallest coil I could bend it into was 6" in diameter.

Has been a reliable distiller
I’ve been using my distiller for a month and I find it easy to use and easy to clean. It puts out some heat because it heats the water during distilling, so I have it set up on my countertop in my laundry room so I can shut the door and keep the heat out of the rest of the house. I like the taste of the water. Most days I use my distiller and always have cold distilled water in the fridge for drinking. Some have complained about the pitcher not fitting tight to the distiller, but I don’t mind the configuration because the water doesn’t splash or leak, it flows just fine from the distiller into the pitcher without any problems. I clean the distiller with white vinegar and wipe dry after each use and the reservoir stays stain free. I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent product!
My husband and I were buying distilled water by the gallons each week, because we use so much for our humidifiers and CPAP or BiPAP machines. We want the purest water available for those products, to reduce the possibility of contaminants. Well, once we got the Waterwise 4000 Water Distiller Purifier, we don't have to buy distilled water anymore. This product has paid for itself twice in just a little over a year. What a better way to do things than to have to lug cases of di..stilled water home from the store and have to recycle all those bottles. It's a money saver, and it sure saves on our backs, too!(...And, below is an update from us after having had this product for over two years, now.)Just an update from me (YooperGal) on our purchase of this machine. Despite having distilled hundreds and hundreds of gallons of water for the past two years, our distiller is still working great! Like I said before, this distiller has paid for itself many times over. Before we started distilling our own water, we were paying a lot to buy distilled water just for CPAP and Bi-PAP machines, but once we started distilling our own water, we began to use it for our humidifiers, as well. Also, having such nice clean water to put in our home humidifiers and CPAP/Bi-PAP machines is wonderful, and all our devices stay so much cleaner. This is a product you won't regret purchasing.

Lasts over a decade
I use this about twice a day and just replaced my old one after about 12 years. Started turning off before it was done eventually. Great product. I’ve tried other brands that lasted only a year.
