We are using this product to help prevent viral infections. This product is well priced and effective.I've been on an herbal and supplement anti-viral program for over two years. Taking Quercitin is part of that regimen. It's said to help Zinc penetrate the cells. Do your own research on that one.So far I've not had even a cold for over two years. Lyme disease left me with at least one stealth viral infection that caused periodic fatigue. A friend with Epstein-Barr finally helped me get on an anti-viral maintenance program using herbs. To that I've added Vitamin C, Quercetin, Vitamin D, and Zinc. Seems all these work together synergistically, and I'm happy to report normal energy levels and no viral infections for almost three years now.Please do your research on Quercetin. It's a potent anti-oxidant. Research is proving more and more that anti-oxidants are key to preventing infections, cancer, and they help to reduce inflammation. Inflammation is linked to all kinds of disease processes, and lowered immunity. I'm convinced Quercetin plays an important role in improving immune function. Functional Medicine MD's can explain this a lot better than I can.

Excellent Supplement
I learned about this supplement from Dr. Hyman on one of his podcasts as one of the best anti-inflammation nutrients. I take one in the morning and one at night with no issues.
