uni-ballSigno Gel Ink Pen, Blue, 0.38mm, Pack of 10

I consider myself a pen connoisseur, and this is by far my favorite pen in the whole world. I love the fine lines and the juicy ink flow, which does not smear in my Japanese notebooks. This blue is very unique unlike the regular dark denim blue of regular fountain and ballpoint pens. It’s special almost like a heather blue. .38 nib for the win!!!

The title is more precise than a hyperbole. I had used the Uni-ball Signo 151-28 for over 10 years and I just realized that it is no longer available ! I had a slight issue with the pen, no fault of the product though. The fine tip of the .28 mm pen was at times too sharp for sub par quality paper. Especially paper napkin sketching of an idea at a coffee/tea shop. So I had to make sure I was writing on at least a fair quality writing paper with it. At times when the paper was a little damp due to ambient humidity or other reasons that tip was just too sharp and it would mark irregularly. However on a crisp dry paper it was great and absolutely the best thing. However Uni-Ball just made their great product better with giving it a .38 mm tip after first use my hesitation started to fade; the lines are just about as thin for hand writing and the pen writes effortlessly even on a sub par paper quality ( DISCLAIMER: I do not work for uni-ball or their subsidiary, I just genuinely like their products and engineering for such a simple thing)

I'm so happy that I'm able to get the same pens as I used to use in Taiwan. Nice quality and reasonable price.

I LOVE this pen! I bought a 10-pack of 0.38mm with blue ink a while ago. I loved them so much that I bought another set - this time with blue/black ink. Beautiful color! I decided to buy another pack of just blue ink. I believe I hit the reorder button and expected to get the same exact item. But when I opened the box, it was clearly not the same pen as in the past. The line is much thicker (right side of photo). The English sticker on the back states that it is 0.38mm which is what I ordered, but it is NOT the same pen. If you want to order the pen with the thinner line (left side in photo) be sure to get the one marked DX UM-151. The ones that just arrived are labeled UM-153.

Perfect size, lasts a long time, never received a defective item. This is the only type of pen I use.

The smooth flow of gel and the responsiveness of the tip make me write more than usual when these gems of a writing tool are at hand. Much more. A great company to my studies. They make me happy.

This is the best pen that I've ever used. If you're looking for an every day pen to meet all your pen writing needs, this is it!

They work well until they don't. They stop working when they have about have a tube of ink left.
