Nice product.. even at 800°C.. still hanging on.
Im using this stuff to seal up the flanges of a homemade jet engine. High pressure, high temp, and corrosive environment.. it works great.

Fireproof. Cracks though
It’s okay. Definitely very fire proof. It shrinks as it drys though which introduces cracks so you need to do it in passes

Good product
Haven’t tested in a fire (fortunately) but it’s easy enough to apply.

Dried up & Fell Off
I tried using this product to seal small seams in stainless steel inside a homemade smoker I built. It flowed out nicely & dried, then I turned up the heat in the unit to cure it (per directions), and after it cooled down, it all dried up, cracked and fell off. Now I'm scraping off what's left, vacuuming it out and looking for something that really will work. Needless to say, I'm not impressed. I see lots of other folks seem to have had good luck with the product, but I certainly didn't. I really don't know how a person can apply it incorrectly unless it was too cold outside when I applied it (upper 40's, lower 50's) but if that's the case, there should be warnings on the label advising against application in less-than-ideal conditions. And yes, the surfaces I applied it too were cleaned (wiped down with alcohol prior to application).

Ok
It should be more clear in the listing about not being waterproof.
