Any way to get this stuff to set up? Has been weeks and still pliable

Hello, How much whiting have you used? Whiting (calcium carbonate) is used as a final step in the lead caming process. It is used to clean the cement residue from the leaded work and it begins the drying/setting process in the cement. After cementing your panel, sprinkle the whiting on the panel. Where are you located? what has the temps been in your area? are you in high elevation? humid area of your studio? We also use this in our classrooms here, never had this length of time for it to dry, especially after using the whiting powder. Let us know - Regards, Anthony L.

How long after using this putty do I need to wait before installing the panel?

If you pack it in correctly, no wait at all. It should stay slightly flexible for a long time.
