Awesome
So I have a Raspberry pi 2 B which doesn't have wifi ,I set it up with Volumio and was able to get my Edimax dongle working. But I wanted to try Moode and the same dongle would not work ,I also bought a TP link dongle to try with no luck .Maybe there is a way to get those to work but I couldn't figure it out ,I received this dongle ,plugged it in and rebooted the Pi it worked flawlessly and I'm now in my WiFi network.

Can't say enough good about this little thing
Can't say enough good about this little thing. I liked it so much I bought another as a backup. I've gone through my share of adapters in the past, and this one has worked the best. It's also super small and low profile. It lights up very slightly, enough to allow you to know it's working, but not to where it's annoying seeing it on your laptop while you work. It works right away a vast majority of the time, having probably the easiest connectivity and uptime of any adapter I've ever had. It still has problems every now and then, but I unplug it and plug it back in a few times and it eventually works again without doing anything else.

not really good. I use it with Mac and there is ...
It is ok, not really good. I use it with Mac and there is no way it will remember wifi credentials between each reboot/restart. Not sure how this affect windows users. I am not a big fan, but it is OK for the price I paid for.

Works with Chromium OS
Converted a ten-year old Dell laptop to a Chromebook for my son, naturally the WIFI adapter didn't work with the change. That prevented me from using it, as Chromium requires a network connection to get started. Not every USB adapter works with Chromium. This one worked great. Instant success, and it performs plenty fast. Not setup and no compatibility issues. Arrived quickly and was exactly as advertised.

Awesome deal for the price.
Edit: After almost a year this thing is still working very well and I am able to stream hd over the wifi to my raspberry 2. This thing has been working great for me and is very easy to setup. I use kodi on my raspberry pi 2 and you can setup the wifi with no issues. This adapter has been a solid performer with no issues over the last 9 months. It was a great deal and I highly recommend getting a few of them for your projects.

Poor Quality Control
I just happened to get a defective unit. The generally positive reviews gave me a false sense of confidence in a price that seemed to good to be true. I bought this as a fallback for a built-in wireless adapter that is slowly starting to fail in a laptop. I plug this adapter in, plug-n-play works great for windows 11, it sets itself up in seconds and I’m off and browsing. Things seem great…. For 30 seconds. Then I have no connectivity. I go to unplug the USB, and it’s hot. Likely a thermal issue from leaky transistors in the silicon. If I let it cool, plug it back in, it comes back to life for a bit, then back to no connection and a high temp. I’ve tried modifying the adapter settings to force it to use different frequencies, to use “WiFi” mode in lieu of “Performance” mode, etc. No combinations of settings seems to help. I get why it passed quality control as it does work for a couple of seconds, but it’s not a functional device at all. Bummer.

Thermal Issues
Works for a bit, but then overheats and crashes.
