Luxury quality encasement
Very nice quality and durable encasement. It fit the full bed perfectly. It’s waterproof, mite proof, bug proof. Would buy again.

Excellent mattress protector
I bought a new full size mattress and wanted to protect it from dust mites and possible spills. I have bought this protector before, and loved it! It is easier to install if you have two people doing it, but can be done by just one person. I find it's easier to lay it on the mattress zipped up then unzip it and slide to the top of the mattress sliding half under the mattress while sliding the other half over the top of the mattress pull the lower half, under the mattress gently, while simultaneously gently pulling the top half then zip up and adjust as needed. There is a waterproof, terry cloth top and the rest is a durable material. It is very quiet when moving when trying to sleep. Some reviews state there was an odor upon opening the package. Neither of the covers we have purchased had any odor. However, if you do have an odor the cover is washable and dryable (low heat). It takes a while to dry though, but be patient. The zipper is tucked and hidden so it won't snag on anything. I definitely recommend this mattress protector

This product is really great and they stand behind it. Need to order. Can’t find it in stores.
I’m very surprised. We ordered it because we have had the worst months with bedbugs. It’s the worst bug I’ve ever seen or heard of that is so extremely hard to kill. They suck your blood while you sleep. Rarely do I see them during the day but they were dormant in a wall in a spare room and the bathroom. When these little vampires woke it was a vengeance. The bites are horrible. They crawl in around and across the bed, pillows. For absolutely months we tried everything to eradicate them. Only thing is a high heat by professional exterminator. 125 degrees or higher for up to 4 hours. It felt like we were moving. Check out the list of things to do first. Then there is the chemical treatment for weeks. Glue traps. We had a great company. One thing they said was get your ‘Mattress protector and pillowcase protector. ‘. So I did my homework. I love the choice we made. We have a king bed and and twin . I thought it was going to be hard. My husband, my brother and myself ready to open it up and try to get it on. We were saying WOW through the whole process. It’s so easy. Fits so well. Pillows were easy too. We got a total of 4 because we each have two. So glad because these bugs might come back. The exterminator was back and checked our bed and was very happy with the choice also. I know this is long but it was a thousand for the exterminator and at least a few hundred for sprays before hand. The bed protector is the best deal and we got a discount on Amazon. We slept with flashlights and I was a nervous wreck. At least we sleep without fear of being victimized by bugs at night. We saw a few after the mattress protector came but I called the exterminator and they are very determined to help us. One word of advice. When you shop for a mattress protector, try this brand, it protects of other things like mites and dust but this protects from bedbugs. You will never regret this cover. Ounce of prevention, before you get bit and for your family and guests. Worth the peace of mind. We had to get new beds, old ones on the curb trash day. Washer and dryer running every day. They said to just run heat but we just felt better doing it all. All on hot. Yes we have shrunk some clothes. With we diet and be healthy. Or get new clothes. So we’re dieting. Hope you don’t do this as we did. We didn’t want to do the heat treatments but it IS the only way.

Durable Mattress Protector with Quality Zipper
I bought a new mattress a few years ago and originally used a basic cover, but I didn’t realize a full encasement could make such a difference in protecting the mattress and extending its life. This one feels like a smart upgrade. Putting it on solo was a bit tricky (especially with a heavy mattress), so I’d recommend having two people to make it easier. That said, I did manage to get it on by myself, and once it’s in place, it fits securely. The material feels thick and durable, and it doesn’t change the comfort of the mattress. The zipper is sturdy and much better quality than the flimsy ones I’ve dealt with in the past. Overall, this feels like a long-term solution at a much better price than others I compared. So far, so good!

Peace of Mind
I bought the SafeRest box spring and mattress encasements as a preventive measure, as my husband travels for work to multiple cities and states every single week. He stays at numerous different hotels and recently got bitten by bedbugs at one. We made sure he didn't bring any back, but I got the encasements just in case in the future. The mattress encasement zips on 2 sides of the mattress, and was fairly easy to install. The sides and the bottom are made of a tightly-knit plastic/nylon-like material, and the top side is made of a soft terry that's completely silent when you roll over in your sleep. I put a fitted sheet over the encasement, and you basically can't tell that there's even a cover under the sheet (but I use a firm mattress, so it might be different on softer mattresses in the way they sink etc). It also does not get any hotter since the terry-like fabric allows air flow--believe me, my husband and I are pretty sensitive to heat and would have noticed if otherwise. You can tell that this encasement is pretty tight-knit and holes-free because my mattress is only 12 inches tall and so the room left in the encasement created a giant air bubble after we put it on, and it took me and my husband laying down and doing snow angels on the mattress for a few minutes to get all the air out of there before we put the sheet over it. I have not tested the waterproof-ness of these cases, as we don't eat or drink on the bed, but because the top of the cover is terry with a smoother lining similar to the other sides of the encasement, it looks like it can at least absorb small amounts of liquids before it even reaches your mattress. I also purchased the pillow covers which are great, and with all the encasements, I have noticed that my sinuses feel better when I wake up in the morning too, which is definitely a plus. I know this is a hefty investment, but I would definitely recommend this to anyone for the peace of mind it brings and the hypoallergenic perks. I have researched all of the available products like this on amazon and other websites, but this brand seems to be the one that brings the quality with the value. I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchases and sleeping much better at night knowing that we're protected.

Helped fix my bed bug problem
I live in a single family and haven't actually done any travelling for over a year. So really I have no idea how I got a bed bug infestation. I have a two and four year old that sleep in the bed with me, and the one that slept at the edge always end up with bed bug bites. At first I thought it was a rash caused by detergent but when I took the kids to the pediatrician he suggested that it may be bed bugs. So I removed the bed sheets and inspected the seams...sure enough, the side where the kids slept, there were small black droppings along the seams. I pulled the folds along the seams open and BAM! A bed bug darted out. First attempt: My first attempt in clearing out the infestation involved removing the bed frame and steam cleaning the mattress and box spring. I counted about 20 adolescent to adult bed bugs more "nymphs" than I could count. I could see that the bed bugs fell dead as soon as it touched the steam so I felt pretty confident that the bugs were wiped out after the steam cleaning...but two days later.... I found another 4 bites on my son's arms. So I ordered this mattress cover and some diatomaceous earth from Amazon. My plan was to trap the bed bugs inside the mattress cover and starve them to death. Supposedly bed bugs can survive up to one year with no food. Second attempt: I steam cleaned the whole mattress and box spring again...the mattress does get a little wet so I stood it on one end and left it t to dry for a couple hours. I was about to put the mattress back in place when I noticed one adult bed bug crawling along the side! I already bought this mattress cover, but that just tells me that steam cleaning in itself won't solve the problem. The bed bugs are just so small and flat that they can hide along the seams very effectively. So I put this Saferest mattress cover on. 3 days later, I found 2 more very small bites on my sons arms. There's no place for the bugs to hide with this mattress cover on so I suspect the bugs were hiding in the electrical outlet behind my bed, so I dusted the electrical outlet and the bottom of the mattress with diatomaceous earth. I think this multi-prong approach has worked as it's been almost 3 weeks now with no signs over new bites. Supposedly bed bugs tend to feed at least once a week SO LET ME JUST SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THIS COVER: I bought the King Size mattress cover, and two twin XL low profile for my box spring set. Both were made with excellent quality. The zipper itself is low profile with small teeths to prevent the bed bug nymphs from crawling out. I don't know how Saferest did it as I didn't think it was possible but this material really does handle water well as well as it being breathable. As I said earlier, I have two kids so needless to say they've already accidentally spilled some water on the mattress cover. I washed the bed sheet, but only had to wipe the cover with a towel to dry it. I didn't let the water pool so I don't know how "waterproof" it really is. But so far it's been very impressive. Regarding comfort: I've been sleeping on this for 3 weeks now and I don't even notice the cover being there. I've used waterproof coverings underneath the sheets before when I was potty training my 4 year old, and they tend to make me sweat. But with this cover, I haven't experienced any of that. It's like I'm not even using a water proof cover. CONCLUSION: Hopefully this post will help you rid yourself of this annoying bug. Use a steamer to bring down the bed bug population. Then use the mattress cover (I definitely recommend Saferest) to trap any bugs still living in the mattress. The diatomaceous earth is to stop any other bugs from crawling up the bed to bite you. Supposedly the earth is safe for humans.

Game changer in the war against bedbugs
We have struggled against bedbugs. No matter what product we used, they are so difficult to get rid of. But this mattress cover was a lifesaver. It's soft, comfortable, and protected our mattress against those nasty little pets. It's not super thin but thick enough to be comfortable. It is easy to use and it functions like it should. A great product. Highly recommend.

So far so good
We had several guests over, and we aren’t sure if it was the new neighbors that moved in from out of state (to an adjoined-wall townhouse unit), or our out of town guests, but someone brought in some dreadful bed bugs. Or so we think they are, we have no idea as we never saw them but would wake up with bites on our upper arms and face! We never saw any evidence on the bed or bedding or anywhere so it was pretty frustrating. We tried as much as we could without harsh chemicals as I was worried about the toxicity for my toddler. We started getting bit after they left, and thought they may have hitchhiked on their suitcases when they stayed at an Airbnb. I constantly washed and dried the sheets on the highest setting, laid down some of that Harris bed bug Diatomaceous earth powder (around the perimeter, legs and inside the outlets), and tried to steam the mattress and perimeter- spent hours doing that, and it didn’t seem to help. What seem to help from getting bit at least was lathering on lavender or eucalyptus scented body lotion from Bath & Body, and spraying around the bed with the same essential oils that were slightly diluted . Long story short, I’m not sure if the buggies are still around. But after I had taped up all the outlets and anything that had a small opening around the walls in the affected rooms, and using this bed encasement, we haven’t been bit, and it’s been several months so far. Make sure your bed is away from the walls too! And put a small plastic castor or deli dish under you bed legs, and put some of that D.E. Powder in it, so they will climb in and get trapped in that. Though we’ve yet to see one 🤷🏻♀️. Ok back to the encasement, I bought this one and the GuardMax zippered mattress encasement at the same time for my Queen mattress and box spring. I can’t remember which one I used for what, but they were both easy to put on. I did it by myself, as. 5’4” female, and took less than 5 min each to put them on. Make sure to remove your mattress from the frame, and put it on its (long) side. Then slip the cover on long ways, and slide it top and bottom, and when get about halfway, tilt the whole mattress towards the uncovered side so you can continue sliding the encasement. Just be gentle as you don’t want to tear it, especially when you are laying it back down on the bed frame. We haven’t had any issues with heat or crinkling sounds either. So far it’s been a great investment! I can’t speak to the waterproofness yet, but being bug free so far, we have been quite pleased!
