This job is fairly easy. Just be careful
I failed to compare the new unit to the old unit before installing. The original unit has the electrical connector attached to the motor. So when the unit was installed and I tried to plug in the wires the socket wasn't there. I started to uninstall it but before I took it out I noticed that the new unit had a plug at the end of a long set of wires. Once I found the plug then it was simple to just thread the plug to the socket and connect it. Another reviewer had indicated that there was a noise in the door. I think it might have been the loose wired plug hitting the inside of the door. To avoid this I zip tied some plastic packing around the plug to prevent it from making noise. You can see the wrapping in the pictures and a pic of the original unit with the socket attached is provided. My only other problem was that I had tried to tape the window to keep it up until I could effect the repair. That didn't work and a bunch of glue from the tape was on the window. I cleaned the window as good as I could but when I had the unit installed it went up but would not go down. Ultimately I found that the glue had coated the black rubber strips that the window runs through. Once I cleaned them with glue remover the window functioned properly.. So, if you need to keep the window up I suggest you used some kind of suction cup. I found a 2 pack at the dollar store that worked quite well. If I had done that first this job would have been a breeze. Even with this mess up it was an easy job. My buddy has had the regulators replaced on all four doors of his Tahoe at $400 a pop. No thanks, I'm ready for the next one to go.One more tip. When I did the job it was morning in Houston and the temp was pushing 90. The black sticking stuff holding the plastic sheeting to the door can be messy. Don't get it on your clothes. When I pulled the sheet the stuff stretched like bubble gum. I found that cutting the black gook with a razor blade while pulling the sheeting kept the stuff from getting out of control. I looked at 2 youtube videos before doing this. One guy took the sheeting completely off. The other just disconnected the perimeter and bound up the sheeting while working around it. I think this is a less complicated way and saves you effort. The video is by JoeTheAutoGuy. I recommend it. However, it would be good to view the other video by Velvethamma to compare.

Saves lots of money compared to most automotive shops.
I have replaced all 4 window regulators on my 2006 Suburban in the last 2 months. They didn't all break within the last 2 months but after the back 2 had been disabled for years and the front passenger regulator failed I decided to fix them all, even the driver's window which was working still but slowly. These are easy to install and work like the original. Can't say anything about longevity yet but so far so good.

Simple aftermarket replacement
Easy to install, structure was more cleaner put together than the oem assembly. All mounting points lined up accordingly. Overall good bang for your buck rather than purchasing expensive oem parts. Only criticism I would give it, is the motor is significantly smaller than oem so we’ll see how long it lasts.

Good Deal
Ordered for our 2003 CHEVY Suburban which had all 4 windows stop working. I watched a YOUTUBE video on how to replace. Ordered parts from Amazon and ta-da, replaced. It took some time, but with patience and easy to install parts, all windows are now operational. Hope they last!

Easy to install and works perfect. Tape the window up. Loosen off the window clamp bolts. Install everything. Hook up the electrical then use the controls to roll the window all the up. Tighten the window clamp bolts and it’s done.
