Good quality, good adjustments but poor fit on compact SLR
Very adjustable, but only to a point. I ended up returning this item, not because it was a bad product, it just didn't fit my compact SLR. The material quality is good and it has a lot of adjustments. The setscrew slides back and forth to help center the plate on the bottom of the camera and the strap has a wide adjustment range, unfortunately there are a few things that this will not adjust for:1. If the upper lug for the strap is too far forward, the strap will get in the way of moving your fingers preventing you from using the controls2. the distance from the screw to the edge of the plate is ~65mm. If your camera is shorter than that, you will have the edge of the plate digging into your hand. You can attach the strap to the other end of the plate, but that connection doesnt seem to work as well.3. if you find your hand hanging off the bottom of the camera grip you will probably end up unhappy with the strap. There are a ton of adjustments and the item fit securely, but it needs a medium to full size SLR to fit your hand well.

Great wraparound leather hand grip for my Canon DSLR cameras
My previous leather grip for my Canon DSLR was looking really worn out and peeling, with little bits falling everywhere. I figured I would get another one as a replacement and this hand grip was perfect. I liked that the securing strap was extra long so I could easily reach the strap mount on the underside of my vertical (with two batteries slide tray) grip. After fixing it to my camera and adjusting it for comfort, I cut the excess length and cauterized the ends. The strap is made from woven nylon and is quite strong. I am very confident in the durability of this leather hand grip, as well as confident in the security of my camera while on a shoot. I left the hand opening a little loose for quicker grabbing and releasing. If I have it too tight, it is ore difficult to remove and I cannot click the shutter button with my index finger. Love this grip and will be buying another for my other DSLR camera. With the vertical Canon grip on my Canon DSLR and this leather wraparound grip attached, I am also able to carry the camera in my left hand, in vertical/portrait orientation and still easily activate the shutter button. Win-win for me when doing a shoot with a camera in each hand.

Good Strap for the price
Just received this hand strap yesterday and so far so good. Adjusting the strap to get the right fit was not the easiest, but once i finally did get this fitted correctly it worked great. I have a little bit of trouble working all the buttons on my Canon T5i when i put my hand all the way through the strap, but this may be due to how i have the strap adjusted and how long my fingers are. Again not a deal breaker, especially at this price, but just wanted to give an honest observation about the convenience of use. Overall this strap works great and wont break the bank either. One thing they do not note in their description is that you can actually still put your camera on a tripod since the screw that holds the strap to the bottom of the camera also is threaded underneath so that another accessory can be attached. I simply attached my shoulder strap but it looks like a tripod sled will fit as well.

Works as described, but isn't a realistic tool for serious shooters
I bought this strap for peace of mind--I've never dropped my camera, but I hate wearing a neck strap and always free hold my camera, which I will concede is a gamble. I wasn't under any misconceptions about the quality of this, you get what you pay for, and this is decent enough (can't speak to how well it wears, I haven't had it long enough for that). My biggest complaint, and the reason I give this two stars, is that it is not functional at all. With the strap secured to your hand, it crosses right over your knuckles. If you will pick up your camera and watch what your hand does as you adjust different settings on the camera (and heaven forbid, back button focusing) your knuckles will come up off the body of the camera for your fingers to reach the buttons. With this strap, those motions are next to impossible. I tried loosening the strap so that I could push it forward over my fingers instead of my knuckles, and that helps *some* but it's not comfortable. My biggest complaint is that I cannot return it! I'm not keen to pay $5 return shipping on an item I only paid $13 for. Might as well just keep the darned thing and either resell it myself or try and see if I can adjust to it....I doubt that last one seriously though. A previous review stated that this was great if all you do is hit the shutter, and I think even that's a stretch, but it's "good" advice where this product is concerned. If you change settings at all as you shoot, this will drive you nuts.

Feels better when turned around. Logo at bottom.
I have only been using it for a week. I got it to help stabilize the camera when I shoot with one hand on the camera. My left hand is holding a flash for macro photography. It does a good job for this purpose. You can also attach your neck strap. It takes a lot of stress off my wrist. I don't have it real tight you want to be able to have good movement for your thumb for focus positions and back button focus. There are some down sides: the bottom bracket covers the battery cover on my Nikon. You can just unscrew it and let it hang to change the battery. The pad shifts. I seem to have to shift it back up.

Comfortable but large.
It works and is comfortable. The part that contacts the wrist is sufficiently large to feel secure and not have any pressure points. However, attached to my Canon 5D, the thing is large. I have to adjust it to the tightest setting on the leather strap to fit. I think that many women would not be able to use the product. The bottom piece that screws into the tripod hole is made of plastic. To me, this is the weak point and would cause your camera to drop if it broke. However, it appears that all of the products like this are made with the same plastic screw on connector. I would really like to see a metal connector plate.

Well made
Item arrived in two days set it up on my camera fits really well . Not had a chance to shoot with it yet but it does feel comfortable on the hand and camera steady for shooting . Easy to adjust and fit onto the camera .Nice to have a thumb screw to fit into the base of your camera then a thread so you can fit to a tripod without having to take off the strap .

Good Quality - Not for small hands - Too Bulky
PROSGood quality materialNice finishSeems a good quality productCONSNot made for small feminine handsThis hand grip was so bulky and big on my hand, I could not even maneuver my cameraPurchased and returned.Might be comfortable for a man's hand but not for a small hand like mine

Really nice little addition
Works really well with a combination of the Sony a6000 and the Mcoplus Vertical battery grip and really really well with non compact DSLR's giving you a nice firm grip on the camera. The a6000 although it works with it, does require you to loosen it though for a more comfortable pressing of the shutter release button. The feel though is substantial and worth the money.

Seems great quality for the price
fits my Pentax DSLR and would I think fit any DSLR. Seems great quality for the price. The bracket underneath still allows the use of a tripod
