Noisefighters | NEW 2019 MODEL | Thick Gel Ear Pads with Relief Cuts for Glasses | Impact Sport + Peltor Rangeguard + Sport Tactical Compatible

Unlike the previous version that I purchased in 2018, the 2019 gel pads do not have "a lip to lock onto the Impact Sport headset" as described. The backing is soft and adhesive only, restricting the ability to slide the soft outer edge of the pads smoothly under the tabs of the headset. The narrow, soft pad extension cannot lock under the tabs and the pads are only held in by the adhesive backing. This change was a disappointment since the previous design was excellent.

I bought these to go on a set of Howard Leight Impact Pro muffs. I often spend hours at the shooting range and never take my ear pro off the whole time. The factory supplied ear seals were really uncomfortable for anything over an hour and I felt these would be worth a try. The only thing I don’t like about these is the price since they cost almost as much as my ear protection. But they work as advertised and I’m able to leave my muffs on for hours at a time without discomfort. They also seal better because they are softer than the ones that came with the muffs.I highly recommend these to anyone who needs to wear hearing protection for hours at a time. The item itself is a five star product but I took away one star because of the high price.

I purchased these gel pads to replace the standard plasticish pads on my Howard Leight headset. I cannot emphasize this enough: these pads are ridiculously comfortable - a night and day improvement. With the Leight standard pads, I could only take about 30 minutes or so before my ears began to ache; I could wear these pads all day.Method of attachment is fine. The adhesive seems to stick well enough.Only con is the price. At $40, it is close to the price of the headset itself. For what it is, $30 would be more reasonable.

I used these to replace the failing pads on my Pro Ears Ultra 33 passive muffs. This required tearing off the old pads, scraping off the adhesive and applying the peel and stick gel pads.These pads are more rounded than the more rectangular pads of the Pro Ears but fit well in the cups and feel great when worn.My prescription glasses are narrow enough and close enough to my head that the gel pads form around them without needing the cutout on the top. The cutouts work great with my non-safety glasses but do put them at a steeper angle.

I purchased two sets of these without doing as much research as I should have. My friend had an older set that fit like the OEM cups, but these downgraded ones are adhesive. I also notice that Noisefighter no longer advertises an improved NRR rating. This adds to my disappointment as both my girlfriend and I perceived the Noisefighter to block less sound than the OEMs. So much so that I had to double up ear protection while shooting outdoors, something I never felt I needed to do with the OEM cups. However, her and I both began to develop a headache. So we could have been overly sensitive at the time, or the lack of protection caused a headache. Unfortunately I won't know until my next range trip on the 21st.

Great product, customer service BEFORE the sale (they answered my email questions) and love the way they worked. I bought three pairs, one for my standard muffs, one to my BOSE comfort Quiet 15 headset and one for my Walker noise canceling muffs. NOTE, each one of these muffs took a different model of the gel pads, look closely at the website to order the right gel pads for your application. Again, the manufacture was great with replying to my emails and making sure I bought the right model. BTW, he is a retired US Vet!

I replaced my original pads in the HL Impact sports with these, and they've made a huge difference in comfort.
