I haven’t seen this type of curtain rods before and am very pleased with the finish, the weight and function. They’re much nicer than the online picture and were easy to install. Important for me was, the process to add more curtains without any difficulty whatsoever. Umbra provided me with, not only style but a curtain rod that works perfectly. They’re manufacturing quality and price is very competitive compared to what other companies charge for the same product. I highly recommend this product.

I was not expecting these to be so great! They were some of the easiest curtain rods I have ever installed. It took me about 5 minutes to install 2 of them and they looked great.

Looks great. Used these with room darkening curtains over mini blinds. Allows the ends of the curtains to wrap around to block the light coming in on the sides. When the sun comes up, I wake up. This allows me to sleep in. Better yet, the dogs won't get up at daybreak!!! Easy to put up. I added a support in the middle of the rod (which you can pick up at any hardware store) because the weight of the curtains pulled the rod downwards. Also I can overlap the curtains where they meet with the middle support to block out absolutely every sunny ray.

It's nice looking, and it's easy to install. It will not work well for installations close to the ceiling, because you have to slide it down onto the mount. I used it for a 36" window, and two curtains of moderate weight. It does bow a little in the middle, but not so bad I'm worried it will break.

Such great quality for the price, which is on par with my experience with Umbra products.

Nice and sturdy

These curtain rods are very easy to install, they're sturdy, attractive, and well worth the price. The best part of all is the free flowing corners allowing insulated drapes to hug the walls so they can actually do what they're supposed to do, insulate against cold weather!!

This is a perfect rod! My husband works nights and we just couldn't get the bedroom dark enough for him. Plus I was so tired of his complaining! So, I purchased this rod to use with the Best Home Fashion Solid Blackout Curtains also purchased on Amazon. Installation in our household is up to my hubby so I can assume the installation went great as I didn't hear any hollering & he had the rod up in a jiffy! To be sure that ALL possible light was blocked my hubby installed the rod well past the edges of the window. He also mounted the rod high enough to block out any top light. The panels I purchased were wider than I actually needed so the extra fabric wraps right around the rod on the corners & blocks out all light. Peace and quiet at last--sigh!
