It is for horse, joint health and the veterinarian approves of MSM, in addition to other supplements that we might give our mare.

Give this to my dogs everyday for joint issues. They don’t care much for the taste but if it’s fully mixed in they’ll eat it. I’ve noticed they seem less arthritic. They’re both old but this has helped them keep moving!

I ordered this for my senior dog who has been limping and trouble getting up etc; she is 12 yrs old.It's been 5 months now and I'm very satisfied with the results. It took 3 months to see results, give it to her once a day with her canned dog food. She still limps a little but she doesn't have as much trouble getting up and getting around.I tried many different products specifically for dogs to improve her mobility but this one works the best and is very inexpensive compared to other things on the market.

AniMed has fantastic products. I use several for myself and for my pets. You absolutely can't beat the value and quality of AniMed. I'll never use anything else. I started out using AniMed's DL-Methionine for my male cat (add supplement to their food) to save his life from struvite crystals. That was 6 years ago and he has NEVER had any issues since I've been using. He was a very sick boy and on vet meds for a month. So many male cats suffer yet there is a simple solution: use AniMed supplements! And before they suffer illness/death. He is now a healthy and happy cat. I use several AniMed products for myself and I highly recommend. Again, you can't beat the quality and ease of use. I mix in whatever fluid I like but mostly water. I'm a cynic when it comes to supplement use however these products work for me and my cat and they have truly been life changing.Edit: It's now been 10 years since I've used this (DL-Methionine) on my male cats food. He is going strong and still looks young. I have not had a vet bill since. And he's still my favorite boy. 🐈🐾💕

I am not seeing an improvement of pain yet, and am just at a teaspoon, so thiink that when I increase it to the T it will improve. I tend to like salty, earthy flavors so I blew off the reviews of the horrible taste. Don't. It really is awful, but I find that mixing it in juice works pretty well. It does dissolve quickly.

I got this for myself after my daughter told me how much it helps her horse. Naturally I take a lot less than a horse (!) so it lasts about 5 months. I can feel the difference when I stop taking it, so now I'm a believer. There is a time frame for it to build up, but for me I could feel less stiffness in my joints within a week or so. It is bitter, so I mix it in fruit juice. Works well and is a LOT better priced than glucosamine from the drug store!

The only thing I would say all buyers should know is this product has no safety seal on it. If you're extremely paranoid you will not like the packaging. This product is completely legit and melts in water within seconds and is completely clear. It's the real deal! I ordered the 2.5lb and it equaled to a bit over 7cups of MSM. I use it for my carpal tunnel and back pain and I give it to my Pit Bull for his Arthritis. The taste is VERY bitter and nasty but for the results it's completely worth it. I feel no pain in my back or wrist when I take MSM daily. If I stop taking it, the pain starts to return about 4 to 5 days later. I take 1 tablespoon and I mix it with a tiny bit of water to dissolve then I pour Orange juice in it which REALLY helps with the taste and I mix my dog's 1/2 teaspoon in a tiny bit of Oatmeal because he eats dry food. Long story short, this product is awesome, :)
