What a awesome rod!! 😊😊😊😊
When I first picked up this rod I couldn’t believe how light it was! I had to make sure I had something in my hand to realize that I had a rod in my hand.!! I fished with these rods last summer and spring and I can tell you that it makes a big difference when cast and hold this rod. Well balanced and well made. Takes the stress off your shoulders hands and fingers from use. Smooth casting and very responsive with bites and you can tell that you have something on. It made a big impact on my catching numbers as well as how I presented my bait and action jigs. This why I bought two more. Just to have and go back on if I need them. My father couldn’t believe it how this rod performed and felt as well! Very happy customer!Very good value for online shopping. You won’t find this at the big fish shops!!

Cracked when I tested with 3 pounds
The rod feels great but when I tested it cracked and now I'm afraid will break when I go out fishing. This is the first time I heard a rod crack trying to lift 3 pounds... 3 pounds should be nothing for a good rod. I was happy until I heard that sound, it has a beautiful bend such a great work but mine won't last long.

Beyond shocked with this rod!
Prior to this rod i owned and had snapped my dobyns sierra.. due to a car door :| . Now i know comparing an almost $200 rod to a $50 rod is a bit of a stretch, but lemme tell y’all im truly shocked with this serpent rod. It’s super lightweight just like my dobyns which i was really searching for in my next “temporary” rod. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is pretty great, love the grips and the unique rod texture kinda coinciding with the “serpent” name. I dont know if i was just lucky but my reel seat is in perfect alignment with the strong spine of the rod blank, super happy about that. My initial thought on the rod make itself is a 5/5 so far i will update this on performance once i take it out hopefully sometime this week. Btw for anyone curious on which rod specs i got it was the 7’3 MH Extra Fast action baitcasting rod.Update: 9-2-22 caught a good 10 bass today all on different presentations. Handled well with a whopper plopper and buzzbait and jig hooksets were really solid. Had full control of the fish with the rod and grips were great. Beyond light and still capable of fishing more hours with it.Ill stay true to my review and leave it at a 5/5 still really impressed, super solid rod!

Worth twice the price
Background: been fishing about 2 years, mostly spinning gear. My last daily rod was a Lew's 7' MH spinning combo. Got this to try out baitcast gear without spending a lot of money. The verdict is still out on baitcast versus spinning gear for me, but this rod is AWESOME. I got the 7'3" XF/MH option because it said "all purpose" and allows weight as low as 1/8 oz. So far I have been very impressed. I have only caught dinkie largemouths so far, but I can tell this rod has plenty of backbone. I started it our with a 1/8 bullet weight on a Texas rig and that was OK, but with a 1/4 oz on a Texas, it was like I was rubbing my finger on the bottom of the water--I could feel everything. The smallest bites from the smallest fish were unmistakeable.Just so that you know I wasn't paid to say these things, I will also add that I do wish piscifun would a) get a not ridiculous unpronounceable name, b) get a not cartoony logo (or no logo at all), and c) in either case, not put so many branding marks on their rods. I actually wanted to hate this rod so I could send it back for these stupid nitpicking reasons, but it's a really fantastic piece of gear and I plan to get a lot of use out of it.

Very Nice
I purchased this to replace a Cabela's Fish Eagle casting rod of similar weight and action. To give you an idea of how much I liked the Fish Eagle, I had two of them, both rigged with Lew's Super Duty Speed Spool reels. If 4" of the Fish Eagle rod's tip hadn't broke off this purchase wouldn't have been considered but it really worked out for the best. This rod is so much better conceived and built I'm considering buying another and dumping the other Fish Eagle.First of all, I fish Northern Pike, and in the process catch a lot of bass. A big fish for me is 15 pounds with most coming in under that and I mostly fish 1/4 to 3/8 oz spinner baits and buzzers on 20 pound KastKing braided line. I find this rod perfect for my needs in lure placement, sensitivity, and strength to tire out hooked fish and steer them into the net. It's very well built, with solid, top quality guides and a great grip. I like the grayed-out blank and its tactile feel. Green and black thread accents are really sharp looking. It's been said a fishing rod without a cork grip is like a boot without leather (Mucks?) and while I appreciate the look, function and tradition of a cork grip I have nothing but good to say about this "golf club" like grip covering. I like that it's comfortable with my index finger ahead of the "trigger" for casting but also comfortable choked-up, with my middle finger ahead of the trigger for retrieval. There's not a single bad thing I can say about this rod and how well packaged it was for delivery. The reason I include what I fish for and with is it's a crap shoot buying something like this online without being able to feel the action first. When one reviewer commented the medium heavy was like a "broom handle" I went for the medium and this is perfect. As I phase away from Cabela's now that the brothers have sold out to Bass Pro and their products and service have gone to hell, it was a pleasure to find this well made and well functioning piece of fishing equipment.

Good intermediate pole
Like this pole a lot and it has a cool texture to it. Very light weight and looks great. This review is early but feels like it’s gonna be Durable and happy with the price

Lighweight, and the two pieces fit together tight and solid.
The Serpent is the perfect black/green match for their Phantom Reel. Product is light, strong, and features Fuji guides.Only negative is Piscifun needs to pack their shipments better. My first rod arrived broken because it was prepared by a shipping amateur.
