Just beautiful!
-Lumia 710 is just beautiful, both the phone and operating system. Before I bought this phone I already knew that Windows Phone 7.5 was really nice, but after I tryed it with my own hands, I realized that is so much better than Android and even iOS! This OS is very simple and easy, but it has all the stuff you need without too much confusion that other operative systems have. And what amazes me is how good the apps look on this phone; compared to other phones, the applications here are just amazing on the design level. The phone is also great, much better than I thought (for the money I payed). The quality build is great, the glass is the best there is (Corning Gorilla Glass)and touch responds super fast, and generally, it is without a doubt better than the touch response on most Android or even iOS. The only thing on this phone that I think it could be better is the back speaker. The speaker although loud and clear, is a thin gap located on the back of the phone, and if you place your finger above it, the sound is completely stuffed. Although you might think that Windows Phone has few apps, I believe that 90% of users will find every app they are looking for, there is a lot variety of apps although in few number. I don't get tired of saying the this phone is just beatiful, because it is, and you will notice a big difference if you already had an Andriod or iOS, this phone is just so much better is every level (except if you are a hardcore user looking for tons of apps and customization). INPORTANT NOTE: The phone comes with an extra Blue Back Cover in addition to the Black one.(Which is awesome!) -Very personal opinion: I'm going to compare Lumia 710 with an iPhone just so you can see that this phone is a BARGAIN. I've tried an iPhone and it's a great phone, but if you think clearly with all aspects into consideration you will see that the iPhone 4S is just not worthy right now. iPhone 4S: Dual Core @800MHz Lumia 710: Single core @1400Mhz iPhone 4S: 3.5 inches (960 x 640) Lumia 710: 3.7inches (800x480) iPhone 4S: 8MP Camera Lumia 710: 5MP Camera iPhone 4S: 500£ Lumia 710: 160£ So, on the CPU level there is no big difference, because although iPhone has a dual core it has a frequency of 800Mhz and the Lumia is single core but with much higher frequency. The screen on the iPhone is a bit smaller with better resolution, in my eyes there is no difference between the two screens, and I've compared them side by side. The camera is clearly better on iPhone, although to me 5MP is just enough to take a pictures from time to time. If you still think iPhone is worth 340£ more than this phone, fine buy it, but in my opinon it's clearly not worthy. And before you buy an iPhone check out Lumia 800 or Lumia 900, these two are clearly better phones than iPhone and a bit cheaper. -You won't regret buying this phone!

Nice phone
This phone is really simple to use; I love Nokia music (same as listening to the radio) and Nokia drive (this gps is great!). The only two things that annoy me are 1. the mute button -too close to ear when you talk, so that it gets pressed a lot without me knowing...2. battery life is poor but then I never had another smartphone so can't really compare

Great phone with good "FREE" mapping built in!
I bought this phone after giving up on my Sony Experia's mapping facility which was good but expensive if used abroad or on PAYG. The Nokia 710 (like my older 5620) allows maps of selected countries to be saved to its memory card and used whenever required (with full guidance), at NO extra cost. When I had my Sony I tried most "off line" mapping apps, they all failed miserably and usually at the most inconvenient time, when your LOST. The Nokia DRIVE app is fantastic, full guidance, anywhere in the world and its FREE! Google Maps have been promising this facility for all phones but its in a VERY LONG pipeline, If you need mapping abroad and don't have a bottomless bank balance, it has to be Nokia. I am over the moon with my 710, the phone is fair but otherwise the phone works great, does what it says on the tin.

Not great
Not a bad phone when you eventually covert the language from Italian to UK that took a bit of doing. Then there is the charging issue this phone comes with a two pin charger no good for UK plug sockets. The camera is not great but just does the job. The phone itself is good as a second phone (work phone) only used for calls.

I have grown to like this phone.
This is certainly different to the android devices we have in my family but I like it. It works well as a phone with very good voice quality in both tx and rx. I'm not a heavy phone or text user but more of an occassional user. However I do have the phone on standby during most days. Some other reviews have criticised battery life but I have found it to be quite good, lasting a few days. I do have things like email set to manual synch though and location turned off. I have added various apps with no trouble and the wifi seems to work very well. I like the display which I think is best with light on dark (you can reverse this if desired, at the expense of battery life). The downloaded road maps for the UK are also quite handy and of course available when offline. What I would like to see is a battery level indicator on the home page. At present there is only an indicator on the lock screen and a percentage display on the "battery saver" which you can only access via settings. It only takes 3 dabs of the thumb to get to it, but it is still an irritant. My only other complaint would be the small number of theme colours available. All in all, I like the phone and would buy again.

Do not buy this phone
I mean no exaggeration when I say this phone is a waste of time and money. Ever since I got this phone, I have had nothing but problems with it. The touch interface feels stiff, there's lag when tapping certain icons and the final straw for me was when merely ringing another phone was too much for it to handle. That wasn't even a one off either, I have had several moments where I'm talking away to somebody when all of a sudden "ZZZUAAAAANG!! Gone! No more talking for you!!" It's a real shame as well because the Windows OS for it was sublime. It was easy to use and being able to connect to Skydrive was a great bonus for my college work. But the phone itself has terrible RAM to the point where simple tasks a phone is supposed to be designed to do is too hard for it to handle. This really effected the clock. You know your hardware is poorly implemented when it can't even keep the simple task of timekeeping accurate. Don't buy this phone, you'd be better spending that money on a huge pile of cornettos (Mint flavoured preferably). Trust me, it would be a more satisfying use of resources.

The Nokia 710 is a great smart phone that is very user friendly, and a perfect size to fit in pocket or purse. You can text and use WiFi, BUT it is not compatible with AT&T data software. If you DO NOT use data on your phone, the NOKIA 710 is perfect. You just cannot surf the net or use it for GPS navigation. Otherwise it is truly an unlocked AT&T cell phone and the price is certainly right.

my only disappointment with this phone was the fact that it was 3G and it was not stated in the Add.
