It could be age idk! LolI used the scrub 1st I scrub for about 30 secs - 1min then let the scrub sit on my lips while I take a shower when I hop out I wipe of with fingers and wipe with tissue to take off the dead skin. I did the scrub 2 times a week.When I started using the Lipfidence my process was brush my teeth, wash my face, then used the Lipfidence. After 10-20 mins I put on my chapstick over it. I did this everyday. This last week I haven’t been doing the best at using it but it already did its job!This combo worked so fast that I stopped using the Lipfidence on my top lip because the problem area was the bottom lip.I don’t normally have high expectations but this stuff really worked! I feel so confident when talking to people now. I have big lips lolol and I don’t wear lipstick, so it was hard to hide before. So grateful for this product! Get it get it get it.Even though I actually consistently took my iron pills I don’t think that was it alone because it takes at least 6 months of consistently for iron pills to make a difference I believe. I hope I didn’t leave anything out and that my review helps with your decision to purchase.

my lips feel so soft and smooth after each use. I don't really notice a difference with lightening my lips but that doesn't bother me bc my lips aren't dark

If I could give this Zero stars, I would. Disclosure : I do not smoke; I bought this because my lips got sun burned while I was on vacation. This is most def NOT a lip scrub. The granules that are supposed to help on exfoliation of lips is remarkably ineffective. It’s akin to “scrubbing” your lips with a glob of Vaseline/petroleum jelly. Does it leave lips moisturized? Sure, if you moisturize your lips with petroleum based products BUT! I did not buy it for its moisturizing qualitY. It DID NOT change the color of my sun burned lips to its normal color. I stopped being lazy and made a DIY lemon/honey/sugar scrub and THAT did the job.

I was searching for the pink-hued lips I admired in my filtered selfies. I was drawn to try out the NicoLips Lip Balm Scrub by Bella Vita Organic. The product, which claims to lighten and brighten dark lips, seemed the perfect solution to my quest.Upon receiving the product, I was initially impressed by its packaging and natural ingredients, including beetroot extract, shea butter, and rose oil. These elements promised a moisturizing and nourishing experience for my lips.However, after several uses, I found that the product didn't live up to its promises. Despite my hopes, the scrub did not significantly lighten or brighten my lips. This was rather disappointing, especially given the numerous positive reviews on Amazon claiming noticeable changes in lip color.

okay so the first pic is my natural lip color, i took a trip to florida & walked around in excessive heat for about a week and because of sun exposure my lips turned dark and that’s the second pic after i got home. i took another trip to wisconsin and walked around again in excessive heat and when i returned home my lips got even darker (to the point my pink lipgloss wouldn’t show) as shown in the 3rd pic. i used this product maybe 3 times and all 3 times i scrubbed it in and let it sit overnight then washed it off in the morning and hydrated my lips with aquaphor sunscreen lip gloss. my results now (4th pic) are almost like how my lips are naturally but i still have a little bit of brown that’s trying to go away. i recommend this product but make sure you have a sunscreen to go over it after you wash it off

This product makes your lips soft, and a light pink tint is left after you rinse it off.

The problem with the NEW PRODUCT IS it isn’t giving an exfoliating lip scrub anymore and more of a sugar scrub instead, and although it’s good for softness , I believe THE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS; Beetroot, Shea butter and Walnuts really complemented one another well for the exfoliation process which is what kept the LIPS PINK, although the new product still kind of helps with the pink process it’s far more slower , I think this new product is more for the softness and the old BOTH SOFT AND PINK LIPS. I’d prefer the original/Old version.UPDATE:I have been using the new product, but not as consistently as I would use the old one, even when I did use the old product with inconsistency it STILL KEPT MY LIPS PINK! My lips have always been soft, so that isn’t what I’m looking for with this product , I want the PINK LIPS BACK ;) send me the OLD product when I purchase again, Pwwweez and Thx U ;-)

I forgot to take a before pic but i will update later on. received this product TODAY. I have severe allergies and live in dry weather, my lips have been incredibly dry and dull, cracking and hurting to the point i couldn't smile anymore without bleeding. I used this product twice since unpacking and my lips already feel much better. First of all the scrub smells AMAZING, like a ripe sweet strawberry. It's super moisturizing and the little granules (although small) helped smooth my lips immediately. I even feel like they have lightened a little bit but I'll give it more time and update my review once I see a noticeable change in tone. So far my lips feel incredibly soft and the gloss it leaves behind is perfect, not sticky, just juicy soft lips that smell like fruit. Love this product.
