When we first needed to replace our filter, I was amazed by the insane price LG asks. Started searching for alternatives and landed on Swift Green, they were around 1/3rd to 1/4th the price, so I haven't looked back since. They fit fine, though with our fridge you need to make sure the shelf below the filter is at least in the second from the top spot, otherwise it's near impossible to put in or take out.

I won't buy this filter again, and wouldn't recommend it to others. It fits in our LG refrigerator just like the brand name filter, and doesn't leak, which is the only reason I give it any stars. I ran the required amount of water through it after installation (after soaking it per the directions), but it seems that at least once a day the water tastes like chlorine or some chemical-type aftertaste. I can dump that glass and fill up again and it often is fine. Considering we have five of us in the house and we drink a lot of water, it cannot be blamed on lack of water running through it. We have had it just long enough before I installed it that it is outside of the return window (and not sure how you can return a filter once it has been used) or I would attempt to ask for a refund or replacement. Not happy that I have to waste water at least once or twice a day because it tastes funny. I try to be earth-friendly in reducing waste of our resources (clean water) so this frustrates me a bit. Next filter change we will go back to the LG brand (and we may not make it the usual 6 months if this foul taste starts to seem more frequent).

These filters are great. I followed the instructions and made sure to filter at least 3 good gallons through before trying the water. And I can not taste the difference from this brand and the LG name brand. Some reviews were terrible so I was a bit concerned but did not want to pay the name brand price, as it is a rip off and for $30 I was willing to take my chances. And I am so glad I did!!!! I would buy these filters again and would recommend them 100%. Just follow the directions and you should be good! I live in a city so I am just needing to filter out the chlorine etc so this basic filter works great. Plus it helps that it is enviro friendly!

I had an issue with my first order, but when I contacted Swift Green for support they were fantastic. They treated me like an intelligent human being during the conversation about the issue, and it wound up being a super efficient interaction with the most helpful outcome. In my experience with support for online purchases, such decency and respect for the customer's time is a true rarity. They sent me a replacement filter and I had it in less than 48 hours from when I first reached out to them via email. The replacement filter has been great, better flow and water quality and cheaper than the OEM replacements I've used, and the customer service was one of the best I've encountered in a very long time.

Instructions were confusing for first time install. Had to go online to find out proper way to replace the filter which wasn't as intuitive as you'd expect.Troubleshooting tips:- Make sure LG refrigerator Lock light is off (open door and push button for 3 seconds)- Remove the top shelf of the refrigerator so that the swinging door of the filter housing can fully extend to the bottom before removing the cartridge (if you simply pull without removing the shelf and fully bringing down the plastic housing, you can break the connector)- Water runs blue so keep running it in periodic cycles until it runs clear, if you continuously run the water dispenser you can cause damage to the refrigerator connection line due to the sporadic initial pressure of the replacement filter

I swapped out my factory filter for this one after doing a little research. Since these are made in the USA and new (not recycled) I tried one. After 3 month things are good. The taste is great since we have a lot of chlorine taste in our tap water and these remove it. I will buy again since they are less than half the price if bought in more than single units. That way I will replace them when the fridge tells me to rather than try to squeeze more life out of a more expensive one.

I bought this to replace the filter in my Kenmore 31 cubic foot french door fridge. The Kenmore product itself is 50-something dollars. I had to search hard to find my filter model, and it turns out it was an LG LT700p. My wife and I have each purchased Swift Green filters for our own previous Kenmores, and they were always good quality and we liked them. So, we tried them again. Good filter, fits fine, and less than half the price of OEM filter. No brainer, to me. Highly recommended.

Product arrived in a timely fashion and appears to work just fine. Definitely a cost saver when compared to similiar product sold at local big box stores. Barring any future problems will look to replace with same product in the future.

bought months ago to keep one in stock---DO NOT BUY unless you are sure it fits---site says it will match up exactly with original LG filter,but it does not--will fit side by side fridge but not french door style---they don't mention this until you get the filter open it up and look at the installation instructions inside the box.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY---like me---Buy an original product that is made for your fridge--not a so called universal that looks like it may fit. I cant return this because the return window has lapsed--Shame on you SWIFT GREEN FILTERS!!!!!------canadian company!!!!!!!
