Legit Mini Hoop!
My 12 yo son LOVES this thing. It is in his rec room. Assembly is def easier with two people! One cool thing is that it’s indoor /outdoor and the height is adjustable -you can even wheel it out to be poolside. We just put water in the base versus sand and it’s very sturdy.

Use with our pool
This is our second skilz system hoop. Our first one lasted a long time and was outside in the northern Pennsylvania elements. We use this as a basketball hoop for our pool. The backboard finally broke one day when our son was making a basket, perhaps it was his strength and ability? LOL.Ordered this new hoop and the 15 year old was easily able to put it together with the help of his friend. The only complaint I have is that the net it came with did not fit the rim. It was much too small. Having said this, I had been looking for a net for the old hoop prior to it breaking and and been unable to find one that fit. the replacement net on skilz website was out of stock for months on end. I was hoping this would come with a net that fit and we would be set. No such luck. I have had to use a regulation size net and let a few of the loops dangle. It is also important to note that replacement parts are generally available on the skilz website. Our last hoop fell over in a windstorm and the rim bent. There are only so many times you can bend them back into place before they break. You can order replacement rims, which are then quite easy to replace. Replacement rim bought us many more years with our last hoop. Unfortunately, an entire backboard was not on the replacement parts list so here we are - hoop number 2.This gets a ton of use with two boys and all their friends with an above ground pool. We leave it out year round and have had minimal rust on our previous systems. Make sure you fill it with water and use a rock or some other weight for extra support if you live in an area that is prone to high wind though.

Perfect For A Pool.
Perfect for the pool, easy to put together and complete. You can take the center pole out and make it really short so it is the perfect hight for a pool side deck. The rim is a little smaller than a normal size hoop and the ball it came with is a joke anyway so I bought 2 junior size balls they work great and are just perfect for pool play and fit through the rim perfect they are not to small so you don't feel like it's a kids toy. They are 27.5 junior size basketball. The net is the same thing it's stupid small for some reason I just bought a 2.99 normal size net and it works perfect. So all in all great set up for a pool that's what my 5 stars are for, it is a ok hoop for kids to play with in the driveway but two small for adults. A pool is a different story it's a perfect size for that. So either way you have to get a bigger ball and a larger net because the ball is like small toy that is not usable but you will have a great addition to the pool without breaking the bank.

Pretty good
I really do not understand how everybody has had such a difficult time putting this together. I did it by myself in less than an hour. All you need is a socket wrench kit. Anyway...Pros: Easy to assemble, seems well built, really like how it can go so low for my girls (2 and 5 years old), and high enough for me and my buddies to play on.Cons: The net. It's just a terrible net from quality to design. The ball gets stuck in it because the top loops are too big. This also put too much pressure on the net. I have used the hoop for a total of 3 or so hours and one of the bottom loops already ripped. I'm trying to find a replacement net online but haven't had much luck yet in this size. I also plan on contacting their customer service to see if they can offer any suggestions or at least a replacement. Also, it either didn't come with a plug for the base or I lost it already (good possibility).Overall, I have been satisfied and would recommend to anyone looking for something that the kids and parents can enjoy.

It's a nice basketball hoop
It's a nice basketball hoop. Exactly what I was wanting for my 5 year old. I had it now for about 3 weeks and me and my son love it. I put it together in about 1 hour by myself it was pretty easy. It's also very easy to adjust the height. I also like how it has a clear backboard looks good.I read a couple of negative reviews before I purchased it that I was concerned about. 1st one was that it wasn't sturdy enough. Well a week after I bought it it withstood a storm with high winds and didn't tip over. 2nd was that the backboard was too thin and it could shatter. I agree to a certain extent it is a little thin but it shouldn't be a problem for younger kids just learning to play. I believe you would have to shoot it pretty hard for the backboard to break.Overall I think its a good hoop for little ones that are leaening to play the game.

Extremely Flimsy and Cheap — Don’t Waste Your Money
The media could not be loaded. I rarely leave reviews, but this one deserves a warning for anyone considering it.This basketball hoop is incredibly low quality and flimsy. The backboard feels like it’s made from cheap plastic that wobbles with even a light shot. The rim is poorly secured and started tilting after just a few days of casual play by my kids — not dunking, not roughhousing, just basic shooting. The pole and base are equally weak and do nothing to stabilize the structure. It looks and feels like a toy you’d expect from a dollar store, not something sold at this price point.Assembly instructions were vague, and even once set up, the entire hoop leans and rattles with minimal contact. I expected at least basic sturdiness for driveway shooting — this isn’t it.Save yourself the headache and buy a hoop that’s actually designed for outdoor use with kids. This one is a total letdown. Avoid at all costs.
