Perfect device for our purposes. Must-have for us.
This reminder device has helped us immensely. Some have had difficulties setting it up, which I can understand after having done so. But what made it very easy for me (and I set up 4 alarms on the first try) was the Set-up Video available by the Seller on the Amazon item's page. I watched and stopped the video at every step with the device in hand. If I didn't understand a step, I backed up the video and watched it again. I never looked at the printed instructions that came with the device, but I am definitely saving them for future reference. Working GREAT for us: 8am, 12noon, 4pm, and 8pm. Alarm lasts 60 seconds, and is an appropriate sound level. Can be silenced by pressing the middle button. Very grateful to have this device.

Fantastic little timer!
Purchased this little gem to help remind my dad to take his medications, six times a day. I love that it has eight alarms, just in case they add anything else to his schedule. It's very accurate and reliable. Could be a little louder as he has some hearing loss. He just keeps it close by. It has numerous ways to keep it close...there is a magnet, a loop, and a stand on the back. Stick it to something metal, hang it, stand it up, let it lie flat, or carry in a pocket...you choose. You could actually put a cord through the loop and wear it around your neck, if necessary. We added a cord and hang it on the bed post, so he can easily hear it for the early morning alarm. It was easy to set, has a nice big display, and has been a huge help keeping the meds on time. So happy to have discovered this.

A GOOD ITEM BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.
I bought this item last year, and it worked well, but failed 2 months ago. So I bought a new won that didn't work. I tried to get a replacement, and still am.

Reliable Medication Reminder
The clock reliably rings its alarm twice a day which reminds me to take my eye drops. It did take me a while to set up the two ring times I needed using the instructions provided, but it's easy enough. My doctor said she wishes all her patients used such a reminder.

Used for years for Parkinsons husband & now glad to have one for me
This timer now has clear directions (as they point out, in English) for setting the clock and for setting each pill reminder (from one to eight times a day), and a choice of 12 hour or 24 hour time display. Between chimes to remind of taking a pill or pills, it also shows the regular clock time in between. It has a little fold-out stand for setting it on a table, which folds flat for carrying it in your pocket. I tried the vibrating wrist band, which is very cool, but my illness makes my eyes blurry so the large numbers on this despite it's pocket size are great for me. The only down side on this new one is that the battery didn't work, but it was very easy to put in a new AA battery (the battery door is very easy to open and slide back in place after insertion of a new battery). Very helpful as a pill reminder esp for an old person with many pills like me.

Not for use in your clothing's pockets
First, the bad: My main complaint is the ease with which my settings are changed or cleared without my knowing it. I bought this timer because of its small size and multiple alarms, thinking it was suitable to be carried in my trouser pocket. But it is not suitable for my pockets. Doesn't matter what pocket - pants, shirt, bathrobe - the slightest touch to a button can change things on the timer. Bump the HOUR button and it switches between 12 and 24 hour clock. Bump the MODE button and it switches to the next alarm; but the MINUTE button while its showing an alarm and the alarm is cleared. The unit is fine for sitting on a table but any portable use (like in a purse while going to town or out to the garden) can be problematic. The unit desperately needs a HOLD switch to prevent inadvertent button presses from changing anything. This one defect prevents my recommending this timer for any portable use. A lighted LED display would be very useful but is missing. The ability to quickly see the time of the next alarm is also missing. Also, be sure to not lose the instructions as they are essential for continued use. The folding stand is very flimsy and easily broken. And at $30 the unit seems overpriced, given its design defects. The good: the timer is compact and has a loud alarm which quits after a minute. The displayed numbers are large and easily read. The unit's eight alarms are sufficient for most purposes. The time of day and the alarm times are easily set/changed, but don't lose the instructions. Conclusion: the timer is suitable for house-bound people who don't need or care for a more useful timer.

Highly recommend this small helpful device
It took several minutes and 3 tries to get it set up -- which I'm ok with because, even with instructions, I am so not tech oriented. But I got it, and it is SO VERY helpful - no longer have to be a clock-watcher just to be sure of getting meds on time. What a great 'tool' to have for anyone taking meds more than 1 or 2 times a day.

Great Item
Great item, solves the medication problem. The only thing that was a little annoying was that if you locked the keys to keep from accidently changing the times, you also could not silence the alarm. Otherwise, great item!!!!

Hi Amazon, The product was defective and the LCD screen did not function properly after 3 days of use. Please see the attached picture. The LCD should read 10.22 The buttons when depressed get stuck, and stay depressed. This product should be removed from the shelf. Regards Tan Beng Cheng

Lo utilizo para mi padre, para que no se le olvide tomarse las pastillas. La verdad que es difícil que se le olviden, porque suena a un volumen bastante elevado.
