Mood Super Strains

This is the ONLY histamine-free probiotic that works for me (only 1 other I found had 2 xtra ingred. that gave me issues). Nice that it is taken with/wo food! Very surprised at how effective it is without the typical intestinal die-off when killing bad bacteria. Realized my candida was out of control and causing me to binge eat carbs late at night-- within 3-4 days of taking this, ZERO carb cravings! However, don't make the mistake of only taking 1 or 2/day, as it requires 3-4/2x day! ALL probiotics need to be taken enough to reestablish good gut health (told to me by a reputable nutritionist). Once I started taking enough, my gut really changed! I do 1-2 caps 2x/day with food on a maintenance schedule. Or, if I'm having a gut issue, I take 1-2 between food for extra impact. At this point, there might be some die off. Pleasantly surprised at the decrease in head chatter and reduced anxiety. BONUS that It's histamine free, which is why I really bought it! All in all a quality product at a decent price. THIS histamine-free probiotic has worked wonders with helping to KEEP ME SANE DURING THE PANDEMIC!!! Seriously! I have maintained a pretty even keel in mood and anxiety levels living alone w/limited outside contact. THIS MOOD PROBIOTIC IS THAT GOOD! I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep histamines out of your probiotic if trying to heal your gut! It's an oxymoron trying to heal the gut with histamines in gut products.

Updated review: In 2020, after a medical diet, I found out I had “histamine intolerance”. The doctor recommended a probiotic, and after a careful search, this looked like my best choice. This probiotic has worked really well for me, and I’m doing much better; I’m on my 5th bottle. I was advised to at first take small partial doses of my chosen probiotic, and gradually work up to the full dose; I did that, and I had no problems. Also, after just the first partial dose, I got the best sleep I’d had in months, and that benefit continued with each dose. As an added bonus, I felt a more positive mood; I assumed it was because I was getting better sleep, and was feeling better physically. The features that made this probiotic most useful to me were that it contains histamine lowering strains only, and nothing added that could aggravate SIBO, which I may have had. Since it doesn’t have to be refrigerated, I also felt confident of the potency. The price was very reasonable compared to others I researched, and for what it does, it’s worth every penny. I can easily recommend this product; it has helped a lot with my histamine intolerance.

Helps my mood and my microbiome

I have been taking one capsule daily and haven’t noticed any change in bathroom habits or my mood, but this stuff cleans out my kids (6&11). The eleven year old takes one capsule daily and says she’s going very easily now, almost too easily. I asked if she had any cramps and she said no. The six year old was a little backed up, so I sprinkled 1/3 capsule in his cereal and later that day, he urgently had to go and unloaded. He also said no pain. I wish it did the same for me, maybe I need more, but I can definitely tell it’s got some viable bacteria in there.

After I had surgery I was treated with multiple rounds of antibiotics and NSAIDs. Ever since, I've battled several digestive problems, including SIBO, histamine reactivity, skin rashes, and candida, plus sudden and unexplained bouts of anxiety. Thankfully, I found these specialized probiotics -- which came to my attention while I was looking for histamine-free supplements. Over the past several weeks, I've tried three probiotics from this company, and each one seems to have benefits for me. I have felt significant improvements in mood and gut health -- with only a couple of days of minor die-off issues. I also read that one of the strains included in this one is very helpful for lowering blood pressure, too, which is another selling point for me. I had no idea -- until I tried these -- that gut health influenced SO MANY other health conditions. Customer service for these products is also wonderful, and I'm very pleased with this product.

Serotonin is manufactured in the gut and probiotics play a crucial role in that process, among many others. I can confirm that when I take a massive dose of probiotics, particularly one containing a large amount of lactobacillus strains, I am calmer and better able to handle stress at work. When I saw this and read the story of the company founder, I had high hopes. But this blend of mood enhancing probiotics had the exact opposite effect on me. It took me a while and some testing to confirm it, but I am more irritable when I take these than when I take a big dose of lactobacillus. Maybe others had success, but for me, they were a waste of money. I will stick to my cheaper lactobacillus blend for continued relief from anxiety and stress.
