We really have had a successful crop . planting patio tomatoes and regular tomatoes, two kinds of bell peppers in the top trays; in the bottom we have rosemary and thyme growing very well. The only thing we have a problen about is that the bottom layer is restricted to shade loving plants. So while it is good for decorative plants, it limits the number of food plants.It was easy to assemble, although the plastic is fragile and one piece had broken in shipping. Since it easn't crucial for soil or water holding, we just put it together and it seems to be fine anyway.

Purchased for my 2 teens, super easy to put together, perfect size for small spaces like a balcony or even indoors. Since there was a purchase limit of one, I will definitely buy a second one in the future.

I live in an apt with no outside space other than a small balcony . This two tiered bed is perfect for creating the pop of color and herbs I desire. I haven’t planted yet but the finished bed seems to have good drainage built into the layers. Although it is all plastic it looks like baskets which I really like. The packaging is compact but the directions for assembling is fine. Don’t panic! Play some good music and visualize your soon-to- be garden. Enjoy the process.
