ONE Pair Stainless Steel Exterior Shutter S" Hooks (Set)

Almost every part is stainless. The hex head wood screw is steel. Thus most rust issues are eliminated. A stainless screw would be nice and all rust would be eliminated..Theses have a spring to keep the shutter from rattling in the wind and the bolt is long enough for real shutters.I bought these for decorative plastic shutters that just screw to the house. As a result the bolts are too long. So as I said this looks like a nice kit for real shutters. I had to paint some shorter wood screws to make it work for my incorrect purpose.Jay

You can't beat the price on these, and they look nice. Good quality. The "directions" are just a tiny piece of paper with a fuzzy diagram, impossible to understand. I took my time and figured it out. That being said, the "S" portion is wobbly, and I needed to purchase three washer per unit to get the S to fit snugly. However, on the plus side, the units came with a metal bracket which fits behind the shutter and holds it in place. I didn't see this from any competing products. Overall, I would recommend, but you need to be a little handy to make these work.

These are made for a 13/8" shutter.It does not work for a 1" board and batten shutter.I had to remove the back spring and use a 3/4" block behind shutter.I do not have a problem with the quality of the product ,but may not buy again because they did not work for a 1" shutter.I am sure I am not the only one with this problem.The back spring needs to be made for different thickness of shutters. I tried to bend the spring and it broke.

They are not as thick as the other ones I previously purchased. But works well. I welded 2 together to make it a little better, stronger. Locking the shudders Open looks good now

These look great! Not flimsy or plastic. They add the perfect touch to finish our new cedar shutters! We have reordered several times.❤️

I like that they have upgraded the cotter pin. The new pin is a lot more durable.

Very nice for a small price. Usually these can cost as much as 3 times the price for an item that is typically ornamental, but this is very functional and the stainless steel will last too.

Appear to be a decently made product.
