This is the best of tapes, it is the worst of tapes. This tape is incredibly sticky, perhaps the stickiest tape I’ve ever bought. I taped together some plywood bookcase shelves while moving. When I removed the tape, it took some wood fibers with it. I also used it to secure padding on some framed photos. Some of the tape ended up on the acrylic “glass.” It left a residue which I could not remove with any solvent. I ended up replacing the acrylic. So, a truly great tape if potential residue is not an issue. Test before you use it.

It's tape. Clear packing/box tape to be precise. It is thicker and higher quality than most. There are 6 rolls of it, so you can use it to tape many things. There is not much smell. and the smooth surface makes it very comfortable to brush your hand overtop flatten and seal.

Since around 2012 I’ve been a stickler for only getting Duck HD Clear for my packages. It has steadily crept up to almost $20 for 6 rolls. Took a chance on these and I may not be back. It comes off the roll a lot quieter, and seems to have just as much if not more stickiness. I’ve done a handful of packages with it so far and I am not disappointed. It holds its own on a 1v1 with HD Clear. The price point is much nicer so I think I have jumped ship fully.

From other reviews I gathered that it was good quality tape and very sticky. Wasn't expecting it to have super sticky edges though. It's so sticky that I can place a full roll against a window and it stays. The edges are going to pick up all sorts of lint, dirt, etc; from wherever the roll gets set down, so be mindful of that.
