Sugar-free Cheesecakes
I love this sugar-free product! I have tried several, but this one takes the 'cheese'cake! While other products interfere with the cakes not rising properly, Swerve is granulated just like sugar, creating a true baking experience. And it tastes great 👍 My blueberry cheesecakes and homemade pie filling was delicious 😋 Thank you Swerve ❤

Great for baking!
I ordered this because I’m baking Christmas cookies and it called for powdered sugar. I didn’t want the extra sugar, but I wanted something that would still taste good. This brand never disappoints me.I actually like this powdered sugar better than the regular one because the sweetness isn’t as strong, and you can actually taste the cookie itself.Definitely would recommend if you’re watching your sugar intake and still want something great tasting

Saved me from diabetes
What an amazing product. FINALLY! After so many years of being addicted to sugar and trying dozens of and hating every sugar substitute I tried, I found Swerve. I’m very particular about the taste of my sweeteners. Every other one I’ve tried either doesn’t taste right or has an awful aftertaste. But now Swerve. If you gave me my morning tea or coffee with regular sugar in one and Swerve in another, I’d never be able to tell the difference.I feel so much better putting a teaspoon of this in my tea or coffees than I did regular sugar. I’ve been able to cut out sugar from all my drinks. I haven’t baked or cooked with it yet, but I will update this review if it’s anything but amazing.

Not as satisfying or delicious as real sugar, but I've found some ways I do like using it.
Brown sugar flavor Swerve is all right. It is indeed easy to bake with, but for me cookies or cakes made with this are something different from ones made with sugar. Cookies with this swapped into it instead of brown sugar are not equally delicious. In some cases I didn't even enjoy eating them. On the other hand I've come up with some strategic uses for this to keep sugar levels moderate enough to not make me crash and fall asleep after eating it, which I've concluded is probably caused by blood sugar spiking. I don't believe this is necessarily health food either but I'm now in my late 40s and my metabolism really requires a little more thoughtful eating, especially in terms of limiting carbohydrates, which sugar substitutes are a strategy for. However, this product does have its uses, especially in contexts where something only needs to be lightly sweetened, where I'm making a sweet filling or topping of some kind which is merely an accent and not the main aspect, OR, especially, when used as a blend of real sugar and this non-caloric substitute. For instance, I was relatively more satisfied with this as a sweetener in fruit desserts that contained natural fruit sugar, versus cake or cookies that did not contain any real sugar or fruit. I did use a blend of real sugar and Swerve to bake some things in a lower-calorie version, and especially if they relied on other delicious flavors and ingredients rather than just being sugary that worked out. I've learned by trial and error what I do or do not want to try to use this in.It's very expensive so it would feel like a better value if, for instance, I could make chocolate chip cookies that I enjoyed. But that is not something I want to do with Swerve: if I crave chocolate chip cookies, which are so familiar, I crave what they are like with sugar, and I'd rather just forego chocolate chip cookies instead of making unsatisfying ones with Swerve (which is a fine decision, anyway). I still appreciate this product a way of making treats in a reduced-calorie version.

Great Sugar Substitute
So I jumped onto the Keto Lifestyle and needed a sugar substitute that wouldn't leave that nasty after taste in my mouth. So a fellow Keto Lifer recommended this one to me and I am so grateful he did because this one is great!I tried a few, monk fruit, sugar on the raw substitute, etc and they ALL left that nasty slimy after taste in my mouth! I hate it. It's disgusting. So when he told me it was good, I took a risk and bought it. I will not be trying anything else. I use it to make homestyle keto ice cream, in my coffee, and other drinks. Definitely the best addition to my cupboard. I even bought the To-Go single packages for when I need to sweeten a cup of joe from a coffee spot.I definitely recommend this product.

Sugar 'alcohols' DO NOT "make you drunk"~ good grief people!
Another great product from Swerve, though as most are aware, it does not taste or perform exactly like brown sugar- and it shouldn't, because it's not. It is a wonderful substitute for anyone trying to replace brown sugar in their recipes or diets. Many are grateful for all of the Swerve products~ including myself. That's not what this review is solely about, however. I would like to address a few reviews & comments I've seen on this page "warning" folks to "beware" as this "is an alcohol", & can make you "feel drunk". No. No, it cannot. It would have to contain ethanol in order to inebriate a person, as sugar alcohols are NOT the same as booze/beer/wine/ or any other form of intoxicating alcohol! Ethanol is what makes you drunk, sugar alcohols have zero ethanol- in any of them- therefore you absolutely, 100% cannot get drunk from consuming them. Never, nada- will not happen. On an even more serious note, diabetes & or other blood sugar issues CAN mimic drunkenness, & should be taken very seriously. Please~if you experience a feeling of inebriation but you have not consumed alcohol (ethanol), please contact a medical professional immediately. If you made it this far, thank you for your time. Please practice due diligence & research for yourself any such serious claims being made via product reviews~ including mine. Simply type in your question or concern into your browser's search bar, & you will be flooded with information. Do not stop until you are satisfied that you can form a solid opinion or position on the matter. Have a lovely day, and may God continue to bless your efforts. =) ~Samantha Whitson, PV/AZ
