Perfect Fit !
Perfect fit for my porter Cable F250A finish nailer, bought it thru Warehouse Deals and saved a few Bucks! Very easy to replaces. If you ever shopped the Warehouse deals you know most of the time it's just repackaged that's all. But this was just one item in a bag, but I say watch out for items that have a lot of parts when it says repackaged. But so far I have had very good luck buying quite a few items this way and there's nothing wrong with items but being repackaged. Thru the years of doing so has saved me quite a bit of money, like a front deck Wise Bass boat seat that was selling retail for over $275. bucks and I caught it being the last one for $79. bucks shipped 2 day prime just in time for weekend fishing, dog gone nice seat and matches the rest of the Javelin boat seat that were 15 years old! lucked out at the right time, only thing is the Wise Boat Seat Factory isn't but 2 miles down the road or less from me and I couldn't buy it from them for that price! Check out Warehouses deals sometimes, you maybe find what your looking for and save some serious money most of the time.

FN250A works like new again
Bought this instead of a top end rebuild kit. My 15 year old FN250A works like new again. This is an easy past to replace (if you keep your nailer in the hard case, you only need the largest Allen wrench). Remove the end cap and, if you find a pile of plastic mush, this should be the part you need. Clean out the mush and check for any scarring or o-ring damage. An exploded parts diagram (like the one on Porter Cable's site) helps with the reassembly. This part seems to be designed as a planned point of failure, protecting the rest of the system from much more expensive (and dangerous) failures. If you remove the air deflector when cleaning out the plastic mush, be very careful not to lose the tiny spring and ball that lock the deflector in place.

Made my PorterCable 16GA nailer run like new FN250A
This fits the FN250A. If your driver won't retract/reset after each shot, thisis probably the issue. I opened mine and the old unit was shattered into dust. I assume since it was 10 years old the plastic got brittle. This fits perfectly and returned my nailer to new functioning. A word of caution, When disassembling, take a photo of the order of the o-rings and seals. The parts diagram isn't real clear for the location of the Check Seal. I'm not sure I got it right or not, but it works perfectly. Note, you only receive the part no instructions or diagrams. Google the diagram and make sure you get the right model number, there are three FN250A, FN250B and FN250C which are all different.

Quck fix that saved me hundreds of dollars.
In the middle of a recent job my nail gun stopped working, the piston that hits the nails kept getting stuck in the extended position. At first I tried a few other fixes, re-oiled the tool, checked it for debris, and nothing worked. After looking online I read that a few people had this same problem with the same mode gun I have. I took apart the gun and checked the part to find that the rubber material of the old piece had transformed to brittle oily waxy consistency and had been smashed into crumbs inside the gun. It was blocking proper exhaust airflow, and gumming up the back of the gun. I ordered this replacement part and cleaned out the junk in my gun and it fixed the problem right away. And more importantly It was cheaper online then buying it from my local porter cable parts supplier.

I have had my porter cable finish nailer for years ...
I have had my porter cable finish nailer for years. the last time I used it my nailer would only shoot 1 nail I would have to push the hammer back up. so I looked at the product info and it said I needed a rebuild kit. @ $70 so I turned to Google to see if I could confirm before shelling out half of what I think I paid for the gun. I found that others where replacing this part with luck. I removed the top of my gun and confirmed the part was in pieces. ordered this one and have shot 50 to 60 trouble free nails at much less the cost of a hole build kit thanks.

Worth Fixing
When my T-nailer stopped resetting I at first figured it was toast. But a little research quickly focused on this part. It is a lot cheaper than a new nailer and looked easy to install. The hardest part was breaking loose the head bolts that are installed with thread lock. But with decent hex wrenches and a good assembly diagram, it was about a 20 minute job and a successful one. The T-nailer works like new again.
