Bamboo Skateboards Graphic Complete

The media could not be loaded. I’m 43, and relearning how to skateboard after an almost 3 decade hiatus. At this point in my life I care about things that I didn’t think as much about when I was a teenager, such as the ethics of the companies I buy products from. My wife and I try to ensure that as much as possible of what we buy is ethically and sustainably sourced whether food, clothing or other products. Hence the search for a skateboard that was doing some form of good for our planet. This search led me to discover Bamboo Skateboards and their ethical approach to sourcing materials and producing skateboards. Though of course I didn’t want to buy a sustainably sourced skateboard that wasn’t a good skateboard. So I did a bunch of research and decided to go for it. The board I had been riding on that I’d had in my garage for years was a 7.75” so I decided to size up and ordered my bamboo skateboard in an 8.25”. After about a week with it now I can say that I’m really happy with it. Not only does the lighter color of the bamboo have a unique look to it but it has a nice pop and while I haven’t weighed it feels lighter than my previous board even though it is bigger. Love the sacred geometry graphic. Overall feels like a step up from my previous maple deck and I would definitely recommend this board. Really happy with all the included components as well as well as the skate tool that comes in the kit.

Nice board. Graphics are nice in person.The bearings are a bit low quality but the Tracker trucks and wheels all seem fine.The board does have a nice pop to it. I'd say it beats a mini-logo deck in this regard.Came completely assembled as pictured and with black grip tape.I inspected the board and found no cracks or chips or stripped parts or bubbles in the tape or graphics.Definitely happy with my purchase.

My kid loves the board. She's a beginner and it's served her well. She loves the design and we both love that it's made out of bamboo (easily renewable resource). The board came with grip tape, but we bought clear tape so that the bamboo could still be seen.

This is a great and flexible board. the bearings are great and the trucks and wheels are good. The only bad thing is the grip tape is badly packaged and is very wrinkled when it comes but overall I was very happy with this purchase.

My son loved it so much! Took me awhile to put it together since I've never assembled a skateboard but definitely worth it! YouTube helped a lot!

Arrived today, couldn't put it together immediately as the "included" tools were not included. Also washers missing from one of the trucks. After a trip to the shop, assembling and a quick late evening test, good pop, fast, tight turns and fun.

First time skating in 25 years and I'm glad I picked this board to start on. The trucks, wheels and bearings that come with the board are good, no problems so far and I liked the board. Just wished it was an 8.5 or 8.75, but I will go bigger next time. Been out on the board 4 times so far and no problems, but I may change the truck bushings to a medium or hard bushing.
