Depends on the size of your 4 year old. ;) I would say the size for this jacket are pretty accurate. If she normally wears a 4T, get a size larger so she has extra room to grow in. We got a size up for my daughter - sleeves were a little OMG, but we rolled them up. It let her wear it for 2 seasons that way

I ordered my kid who is also a 10/12 a 12/14 and it fits perfectly!

What size does she normally wear? I would go under the big girl button and then select the 12/14 if that is what she wears. My great granddaughter is 5 years old and wears size 5/6 and it fits her perfectly. It is really cute and she looks like a doll in it.
