Innovis 12"x12"x17" Triangular Better-Bench, Silver Steel Wall Mount Workbench

We had our bathroom remodeled. After it was completed, we wished we installed a corner seat / bench. This product enables you to install a corner seat after the tile work and grouting completed which was our situation. Easy install. Note you install the unit using provided stainless steel hardware / screws. Note you have use mortar to fill in the appx 2-inch inner section before tile could be installed. After tile, grouting we added silicone chalking where the tiled seat meets the wall. Also, when installing into the wall I used silicone in the drilled holes and on the screws themselves (stainless steel screws that do not rust). After completed I could stand on this seat. Also note this seat is small. They do sell a larger corner seat however this seat was perfect for us. Note you have to use a special drill bit to get through your type of tile. In our case we had ceramic tile and had to use a diamond bit. Easy project if you use the correct tools and follow the directions provided. Also, it is a 4-day process with the seat and mortar install, tile install, grouting and then silicone. However each process took liberally minutes.

Awesome product. Our tile guy had never installed one and was hesitant of the result. But after it was installed and tiled, he agreed it was a great product and looked NICE. We love how easy it was to install and tile. Probably saved a few hours’ worth of work compared to doing a manual foot rest. We ended up resting it on the tile and screwing it into the beams. I will say it does hold a lot more than 100 lbs. Pretty damn sturdy. I would definitely recommend it and price is amazing.

This is a well-made and designed product. The sticker instructions included are very helpful as well. The wall anchors sent with it are pure garbage. They stand out from the wall almost 1/4 and have ridges to sink into drywall. As this is a shower installation, you generally mount into cement board, which has 'no give' so the anchors can't sink in. I designed the installation around this during the remodel and placed studs behind where this would attach intentionally for security. I added a few more screw holes to attach it well assuming someone's child would play with it in the future. It was rock solid and the sand mix filled it beautifully. I'm very happy with the product. Had it shipped with decent hardware, it would be a 5 star rating!

The shelves and benches from Innovis are great! I'm an enthusiast DIY'r who has rebuilt two custom tile showers and I have included these benches and shelves. They come with great instructions and they just work. Once you fill these things with deck mud they are practically unbreakable and feel as solid as an oak tree! Tiling them is simple too.It's been almost two years now and I'm quite sure these shelves will be trouble free for the life of the shower. Buy with confidence.

I bought this item as part of the remodel of a home on the Big Island of Hawaii. I had to have it shipped to me in Walla Walla and then re-ship it because the seller won't ship to Hawaii. I can understand that for items that could break easily in shipment, but if I'm willing to pay for the extra cost it would be nice to save a step and the time.Having said that, the product itself was great. My contractor installed it and said he'd love to use it again if it was more readily available to him on the Big Island. It made the shelf in our guest shower look like part of the shower and not just an add-on.

I used this to make a small corner shelf in my shower remodel. Mounts easily with provided hardware and provides a very secure underlayment for your tile installation. Much better than a wood framed underlayment with tile backer board. Would definitely use this product again!

VERY SMALL!!! Not a “bench” more like a footstool to shave your legs, etc.

I wanted a shaving ledge to prop my leg when I shave. This is perfect for that or maybe as a shelf. I am a small person and I would not call this a bench. If you need a bench to actually sit on, there are larger versions of this model which would be more appropriate. It is very sturdy and works well with an acrylic shower base when you can't build a bench all the way to the floor. I love it, but make sure it suits your needs.
