My son loves it & so do I
I like this game because its not only an old classic but something to introduce to kids and pry them away from the TV. My son plays this and loves screaming "Sorry" although I know he is not and just acting silly. He loves to win! Its fun for the whole family and I cant believe we all spent all night playing this Christmas eve. The rules are easy to follow and nothing that would confuse a child. I hate games that claim to be for children but is too complex for them to grasp the idea of the game. Its simple yet fun. What more could one ask for in a board game? I haven't played this in a very long time. I am glad the first time I did so in almost fifteen years it was with my son. Wonderful game that everyone will have fun and bond over. I am a firm believer in family game nights and this game will be included in it for a long time. My son who is 8 cannot get enough of it. I would recommend it, its cheap and its a great escape from the Blackberrys, iPhone's and droid's, tblets, and whatever reality show is the rave with these kids! - even if its just for an hour. Its worth it.

GREAT GAME
this game is GREAT because its a fast set up, gets involved quick and dosnt take too long to complete - which is great for a busy person. you can also play it a few times in a row. i like this version with the fire and ice tokens - it makes it highly competitive. i bought this for my 8 and 10 year old boys and we have been playing it for a month with full enthusiasm ahead. once you learn all the rules, its very easy to play correctly. comparing this against monopoly and life, i like it much more because its quick. monopoly is more educational. life, well, i just think its boring..... both take a long time and take a long time to set up.

I love board games
Great price. Classic game. Good times to be had by all. I bought this game for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. If you are not familiar with this game you can have up to four players. Each player has to move the spots allotted by their roll each turn. If another player lands in the same spot as another player the other players price gets put back to the beginning. Hense the name sorry. That is the whole fun of the game, getting to say sorry as you move their piece back to the beginning. This game is very easy to play and it does not take a whole lot of time like monopoly. If you are competitive, I suggest this game.

Great game with some changes from original
I did not receive this game in exchange for my review, I purchased it myself. First the cons, get that out of the way: The board itself. Not sure why so many board games do this, but it’s the kind of board that folds over twice into a square. Not the board you just fold in half. This causes the boards to rip and come apart far faster than the boards that just fold in half. Ah, maybe this is the marketing ploy, hoping that instead of just taping the board, a whole new game is bought! Next, the addition of Fire and Ice. Some cards say, move Ice then move 2 spaces, or move Fire then move 2 spaces. Ice is placed on an opponents game piece. Once placed the piece cannot be moved or bumped back to start until a move card is drawn by the Ice wearer. Fire is placed on your own piece. Fire allows you on your next move to move your game piece to any corner first before drawing a card. Also if you move into Home with Fire on, you can bring another piece of yours in as well. The con to this is it can make the games go SO fast. To some this might be a pro, but my family loves the game, not just starting over again and again. I was able to play 4 games in 15 minutes with my 9yo son. Now we play without the addition, like it much better! The newer version is different than original in that you immediately can leave Start, you don’t have to draw a card for that. Again, liking to play the game, this change is both good and bad. It was agonizing to finally draw a Start card, only to have an opponents next move to bump that piece right back to Start. But that was also the SORRY part of the game! Moving immediately does make things go quicker. And now the pros: This is mostly the fun game I remember from my childhood, with just a couple updates. It’s a great family game with lots of laughs, my 6yo loves it and has become quite good at deciding on her own which pieces to move. All in all, highly recommend Sorry!

The many ways to say you're sorry... or not!
Met SORRY! 4 decades ago when I got to America=Chicago & was a live-in Nanny to 2 boys & 2 girls while working an office 9-5er. Then found a battered set at Goodwill when my own kids were ready & now, at last, Son's Son is old enough to play it w/relish! It takes Grama to show him the way to a boisterous game & unsubtle (non-adult) reactions to what the cards dictate you do w/your pieces & when I'm quiet I'm watching generations at play. Daughter-in-Law, also a fine game player, completes the fun & learning playtime, especially when Grandson realizes his Grama enjoys giggling & hooting & making all sorts of noises & wordplays, as too do his Mom & Dad when anyone looses or wins. We're learning how to play UNO too. Cards are wimpish paper which is OK for learners cuz they're gonna get mauled 'specially in little fingers shuffling & dealing & then pondering which card to follow + reactions. Rather wish there was some kind of deck & discard box, so much fiddling w/untidy card piles. Rubberbanded the cards & put'em & the player pieces in a plastic bag so they don't get lost! One of the oft forgot good manners games!

Just Like The Original, But With Two Extra Features
My husband and I wanted to get some board games to play with our 6 year old and 4 year old. After looking through all the board games I remembered as a child, we bought Sorry! along with a couple of others. So far our children love the game. If you're aware of the original game from decades ago, the only difference between this version and the other is they've added a "fire" and "ice" feature (two little rings.. nothing electronic). We haven't used the fire and ice aspects, yet, since we wanted to make sure our children could understand the basic principles of the original game. After 1 full game was played they understood the rules so we'll add fire and ice next time.

Well, it's no Parcheesi, but the kids seem to like it anyway
Sorry! is like Parcheesi, but not quite as awesome. Or at least that's what my nostalgia tells me to type. This is a pretty basic board game that seems to amuse kids as young as five, and teenagers, and adults. It's very easy to learn. It's definitely something the whole family can enjoy, unlike the games that are geared only toward children (see: anything beginning with "Disney Princess"). The great thing about this edition of game is that it comes in a square box that very easily fits on a bookshelf/closet shelf. All the 2013 editions of the Hasbro board games seem to be in this exact box, so that stack perfectly and take up less space.

Ridiculous changes have dumbed down this game
I can't believe they changed the game! There are now only 3 pawns of each color instead of 4. You can now move from start on ANY number rather than just a 1 or 2. If you draw a Sorry card, but either have no pawns in your Start, or there are no opponents to get, you can now move FORWARD 4 spaces rather than lose a turn. The game now has POWER UPS! Seriously? POWER UPS? In a board game? If the changes made to this version of a classic game are any indication of the intelligence level and attention spans of this generation, I am seriously concerned for the future.
