We had breakaway collars on our cat for years which he constantly got out of and was losing. This collar is not breakaway, stays on, and has a nice attached metal plate with his name and our number. It also came with a separate metal tag. We got the green color and it has reflective material attached. There is also a nice bell to help keep track of him. He seems comfortable with it. Highly recommend!

Just got this yesterday for our 10 year old adult male cat who insists on going outside for a couple of hours a day.His other collar had huge vet ID tags and I was afraid that he would get them hung up in the top of our fence or something.This collar is nice,seems to be well made,but is thick and stiff.I ordered the xs and I'll be honest, its almost too small for my 14lb cat.He is on the last notch, so I had to get creative to make sure that the end of the collar stays out of the way and doesn't hang down.The collar does reflect well,however,I feel that over time he will scratch the reflective material off,he has already begun to do so.I'm not mad about this because I believe these collars are designed for dogs anyways and not fornsharp,for sharp, cat claws.lolI'm hoping it will break in a little and not be so stiff and uncomfortable looking.Because I like the riveted ID on the collar and I like that it is so well made and reflective,considering my grumpy old cat insists on being outside maintaining his property from other neighborhood cats.lolOne thing I plan to try and change is the fact that the tag attached to the collar is straight and not curved,it makes the collar awkward and not fit well.I'll try to bend a curve into it The smaller round tag that comes with it is nice and is small enough to hopefully not get caught in things.It came with a ring to attach it with,but I did not use the ring,I used a tie strap to lessen the dangle and to keep it up closer to his collar.If you are worried that your cat could get their collar trapped on something and may choke....this is not the collar to use,it is not a cat collar and is not a breakaway collar.It is also wider, thicker and not very flexible or stretchy. So please consider your cat's behavior and energy level before purchasing for a cat or even a puppy. This is a nice, well made collar but, it is not made for every pet.One should always consider their animal's personality before purchasing any type of collar.

Assuming the quality in 2025 (and beyond) is the same as it was in 2021, this collar has lasted four years! The belt rather than breakaway works great, and the personalization is so helpful. My cat literally wore it (and a flea collar at times) years with no issues. That old collar tired now (but not totally trashed), so I am ordering another one from this same seller!

Cat collar is too big

I bought one collar to try it out as I've had bad experiences with collars in the past and it was good enough quality that I ended up buying three more. My cats are indoor/outdoor and I'm always worried that their collars will come off or they won't be seen in the dark. These collars are both durable and visible. The reflector works perfectly so my cats are visible at night and they are well made enough that I'm not worried about the collars wearing out, unlike all of the others I've purchased. The personalization was easy to do and it is clear to read. It doesn't look like it's going to wear out at all. I bought small for the first one and ended up having to go down to extra small for my cats, but that's on me.

Bought this collar for my cat. Moved recently and my one cat got outside and was lost for 9 days. So I decided to invest in a collar with information on it so that if lost again they can be returned quickly. Was looking at break away collars first but my cat snaps those off in the first couple minutes no problem. Also my worried with the material on those products was the information wore off quickly. For animal that has an animal knows that they can be rough and tumble so fabric type stuff doesn’t seem to last. That being said I decided to buy this product. It’s sturdiness and durability is what caught my eye. It’s a tough material with a metal engraved plate. It has his name and my phone number on it. It also has a hoop for a tag, which they also provide as well. My cat is kinda a chunky butt so I wasn’t sure if it would fit him. But I was pleasantly surprised that it fit him perfect with not a whole bunch of extra material either. Just enough to move it out a time or two. It doesn’t rub on his neck or cause any hair loss. I was able to add a little hanging cat tracker and it fit on the hoop just fine. The weight of the collar doesn’t both him at all. Only issue I can find in the purchase was it took a little while to get to me in the mail. Which I was understanding of due to having to be engraved and such. Loved the product so much that I bought another collar from this vendor.

I bought 2 cat collars. The description said they had safety buckles and when I asked Rufus if these collars would break away, it said they would. The collars look nice but my cats need breakaway collars because they’ve already had both of their collars breakaway. If the were wearing these collars I purchased, they would have strangled. The description needs to leave out the word “safety”. These collars are NOT safe and they refused to give me a refund. BTW they also come from China so it would cost a fortune to return them. If you want to keep your cats safe, DO NOT buy these collars!!!
