Perfect two-card holder
Bought this because I have to daily carry a government ID AND a hospital ID, and use BOTH multiple times throughout my day. This is a pain, as most ID holders we are issued are just for one. I had managed to jam my second ID into the back of my issued ID badge, but the holder broke. They don't make that type anymore. The security officer said they only issue single holders, which cost the gov't (that's actually you and me!)$6.00 a pop. This ID can be used horizontally or vertically. One side has four retaining tabs (I use this side for my gov't ID--they freak if you lose it), and the other side has two retaining tabs.BOTH sides are constructed in a way so the ID slides in under the tabs then snaps into a surrounding raised rim. Not going anywhere. Yet they are not hard to remove for swiping, etc. Just lift an end and slide out. These are light, durable and inexpensive. Note: There is no "shielding" built in--reader will pick up signal from chip right through opposite card. I don't care, but if you do, keep shopping. If you don't, you'll love this. Buy one for a co-worker--they'll thank you.

The best card holder I’ve ever seen
My TWIC Goes on one side and my badge goes on the other. They are very securely held inside and easily accessed if you need it. I’ve been using different badge holders for the last 20 years and this is the most useful and well thought out one that I’ve ever come across.

Works as described, good solution for using an MFA card
In my company we have to use the same card for access to offices and facilities that we use to access computers and laptops. The result is when you walk away from your workstation computer you need to pull the MFA card from it's reader and wear it like an ID badge to open doors and so security can tell you belong wherever you are. So we are constantly inserting and removing the MFA card from its badge holder. This one holds the badge securely and also allows for easy insertion and removal of the card. That's pretty much the definition of what an MFA card holder is supposed to do, and this one does it well.

Great product
I bought this ID holder because when I was in the military I rode a motorcycle to work everyday and had to show my ID at the access point. Those who are in this situation know how much of a pain it is to roll up to a crowded gate, stop and put the bike in neutral, take your glove off and pull an id out of your pocket (or whatever comportment you kept it in). So I decided to try this thing out. I attached this to a retractable lanyard that was clipped on my belt. This product is 2 sided, 1 side has 2 tabs that hold your ID in and the other side has 4 tabs. Both sides hold your ID securely (mine would flap around in the wind while driving down the interstate and I never lost my ID). The 4 tab side is a little tougher to get your ID out of because there is a lip on on the bottom that "clips" your ID in. You have to lift up on the bottom of your ID (enough to get over the lip) then slide it out. Then only complaint I have is, and the reason for 4 stars, if you are in a hurry and aren't paying attention when you slide you card in, you could miss one of the tabs and your ID will not be secured. This has only happened to me once and my id fell on the ground at the gate but the gate guard saw it and picked it up for me.Overall this is a great solution for anyone that needs to use an ID (or similar access card) on a regular basis.

Versatile and Useful Badge or SmartCard Holder
Recently at my job we moved to using SmartCards which function as near field entry badges as well as dual factor authentication for logging into our computers. So, we still need to display our badges while in the buildings, but also be able to easily remove the card to insert into a laptop or desktop reader. This holder makes it easy to perform both of these functions. One side holds a card (driver's license size) perfectly and exactly with no slop. Nice thing is that the badge or ID can be oriented either vertically or horizontally for different badge layouts. Only small downside is that the badge is unprotected from scratching or abrasions as some holders do envelop the card to protect the chip and card surface. Also, over time the raised plastic nibs on this holder which hold the cards in tight might produce marks on the backside of the card. One side holds more securely than another and I suspect that this is so that the card you need to remove more often has the two tabs holding it in while the card which needs to stay in more regularly has the four securing points.Only downside was the delivery method which took ten days to arrive. I'd suggest that the shipper consider using just USPS instead of a combination of services such as DHL, etc. That hand-off takes what seems like forever....

Excellent ID holder!
Expectations: hold/protect my two badges without damaging themPros+ Strong. I could probably throw the ID holder off of a ten story building and nothing would happen to the badges (don't try that at home, please).+ Design. I love the way I can display my badge horizontally or vertically, it's just a smart way to design the card holder and I'm sure that this feature will come in handy for plenty of customers. There are also short rails that help guide the card in and out of the holder.Cons- Slight bend. This is an extremely minor flaw if it is a flaw whatsoever. When inserting/removing the badge you need to bend it slightly in order to pull it over the ridge on the end. But without the ridge the card would have trouble staying in place and it wouldn't be protected on the bottom.SummaryThe ID holder does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it well. I feel that my badges are protected efficiently and displayed effectively. I couldn't ask for more out of this product.
