Kiwi Suede Protector, 4.25oz

I recently used the Kiwi Suede Spray to protect my Uggs, and overall, I am happy with the results. The spray did an excellent job protecting my Uggs from water damage after a light rain, which is exactly what I was hoping for. (No spots or watermarks.) One thing to note is that the spray has a noticeable odor when applied, as the label suggests using it in a well-ventilated area. The smell is temporary, and thankfully, my shoes don’t retain any odor after the initial application. The only downside I experienced was a slight change in the color of my Uggs. While this wasn’t an issue with my black pair, I did notice that my chestnut Uggs appeared a slightly darker shade after spraying. It’s not a deal-breaker, but something to keep in mind if you have lighter-colored suede items. Overall, I’d recommend this product for anyone looking to protect their suede shoes from water and light rain. It’s effective and easy to use, as long as you don’t mind the temporary smell and potential for slight color changes.

I bought this product to protect my new Ugg boots. The product is well designed with clear directions. It is easy to spray and does not leak. So far, it seems to be very effective. Once I treated my boots, I wore them in the rain and they were completely protected! I think one bottle will last a few years and provide several reapplications.

I used this protector on 2 pairs of suede shoes. So far, so good. I haven't gotten any water stains on the shoes in spite of wearing them in somewhat wet conditions (light rain.) I bought another can of the protector to use on suede boots. They were protected from light water stains, but not the salt rings that come from wearing boots in snow that has been treated with salt. (The product doesn't say anything about protecting from salt exposure, so I'm just adding this FYI. I haven't worn my treated shoes/boots in heavy rain since I don't want to ruin the shoes/boots in case they aren't protected under this condition. The product does state that shoes should be re-treated after water exposure. The latter is why I didn't give this product 5 stars since it doesn't confer permanent water stain protection.

Easy to apply and works great to protect expensive new boots

It works really well. I did not have any leakage in the package. It’s easy to use and it does aid in protecting suede.

Works well Worth the purchases

I'm sorry I had to rate this a three, but I took into consideration how long it took to get the item, and the condition of the can when I received it. It is a good product. Unfortunately, when I opened the paper package, there was a dent in the can and the plastic top was cracked and off the can. I knew I should have sent it back, but it took 15 days to get it, and I really needed to use it on my suede boots. I took my boots and Kiwi spray out in the garage and started to spray my boots when I noticed the can was leaking badly..... I was able to spray 1 coat on before the can was empty. I have no idea why the company would package a pressurized can in a package. I also have no idea why it took so long to deliver it to me. I will not order from that company again.
