Q: Could this be used with my regular drill or does one HAVE to have a Dremel?

You could use a regular drill to drive this tool, but you won't get the high speed or more precise handling of the dremel-type tool. Note the "Dremel-TYPE"; any brand of high speed tool will work. Harbor Freight sells a decent Dremel-type tool at a reasonable price.

Q: Will this work with the Dremel 4000?

Yes it will. This has a standard shaft insert so it will work with almost all Dremel tools and most accessories.

Q: Lots of complaints about durability. Has the company fixed these issues?

I've been using my cut off wheels for over a year on a regular basis and have no complaints. I cut steel rods and small bolts plus anything else of small size that require cutting. If you need more durability I would suggest the air driven cut off tools.

Q: Will this cut through a axle wheel bearing? I have 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee with bearings pressed on axle shaft. I need a small wheel instead of 3"?
