Excellent quality and value thermometer. I bought this same model last year for my kitchen tank and when my living room tanks thermometer died I knew I wanted this digital thermometer for this tank as well. The one in the kitchen has been so reliable and easy to read.It's extremely accurate and the size is perfect. It's a shame it isn't a little thinner but it's fine.My ONLY qualm with it is the length of the power cable, its really not long enough for an Aquarium on a cabinet and on my 200L Aqua Oak tank, it wouldn't reach the top. It's nothing a female to male USB cable hasn't fixed, it's just a tiny bit annoying I had to buy it so it would reach the top where I could attach it to the rim. The length of wire to the actual thermometer tip is fine, it's more than enough length.Whilst it would be handy for the digital display to have something on the back you could easily stick to a surface, I actually prefer it being blank as I've used blu-tac to stick it on the wood rim. This is also handy as I'll be able to move it to a different place without damaging the back of it or damaging the wood.All in all, an excellent thermometer and poifect for an Aquarium.

Absolute waist of time and money, it doesn’t read the correct temperature it’s at least 2 degrees out , no good for my Discus tank or anything else for that matter.

Does the job well but tip has gone rusty

Love this! Very accurate as have been comparing it to my mercury thermometer and they read excatly the same! and have been using it for a couple of weeks. Screen is bright and easy to read.

Ha funzionato bene per 6 mesi poi improvvisamente ha cominciato a segnare valori assurdi. Come si vede dalla foto 72,3 gradi centigradi, con la sonda appoggiata sul tavolo della cucina. Con la sonda nell’acquario dava 79,8 gradi. Non si capisce perché. Da buttare.

This will work very nicely for those purposes. I will admit that the graphical scale really adds nothing to the readability or accuracy of the thermometer, but it does give it more "eye appeal" IMHO. One suggestion: If you wish to change the unit from C to F, you have to remove a jumper on the back of the case; it is a VERY tiny jumper and the first thing that one wonders is, "How do I keep track of this jumper in case I ever want it?". I used an old trick that we used "back in the day" when configuring jumpers on PCBs: Turn the jumper perpendicular to its original orientation and plug one side of it back onto JUST ONE of the two pins that it originally connected. Viola, you have a handy way to keep the jumper right with the unit!
