Good product - great solution
These insoles are great, made of good materials and fits perfect in case you do not have enough room on the front of the shoe (these insoles do not extend to underneath your toes), they have an adhesive surface below the heel that sticks the insole to the shoe preventing moves.I do not even realize I have them on.Easy to wear, nice look. Semi rigid arch support is made of a plastic material, it looks made of good quality plastic, hope it lasts. Metatarsal pad is very comfortable.Very recommendable product overall.

Sized wrong
Too large for size it claims to be.

Great, high quality product
I've purchased several Pagad leather arch support products since my diagnosis a few years ago. They are high quality, comfortable and get the job done/no foot pain since I started wearing them.

Comfortable but wore out in 6 months.....
Purchased these in Oct/Nov 2013 and here it is March 14, 2014 and they are completely wore out and falling apart! These things were confortable, but were not made to last. Won't buy them again thats for sure!

These can be modified with a heat gun.
These have enough arch support, and I like the metatarsal arch for relieving pressure on my neuroma. Also, the near end of my fifth metatarsal (outer edge of foot) is prominent and tender, so I have to adapt any orthotic to accommodate it, which I accomplish by softening the plastic underside with a heat gun and forming a depression with a gloved thumb. One comment I have is that I don’t see any substantial difference between this Viva and the Holiday — slight difference in shape of the front, but they feel exactly the same when wearing. They seem interchangeable.

Perfect for me, but YMMV
Finally, a great substitute for the FootSmart 3/4 insoles that I still love after nearly a year of mileage on them FootSmart Leather Arch 3/4 Length Insoles. I wear those religously in all my dress shoes to relieve forefoot pain. The time has come to replace them, and I was disappointed to learn they are no longer available.I tried my normal size 10 in the regular Pedag Holiday 3/4 (previous version of the Viva Mini) Pedag Holiday 3/4 Leather Ultra Light, Thin, Semi-Rigid Orthotic with Metatarsal Pad, and Heel Cushion, Tan, Men's 10 which was too short. Sent them back for a size 11, and they were too long. Just like Goldilocks, these size 10 Viva Mini's are just right! Oh, and ignore the item photos -they are not the beige/off-white color pictured. They are actually a natural looking tan color, and match the insoles of all my dress shoes.I have very high longitudinal arches, which means that the ball and heel of my foot take almost all the impact when walking. As a result, my metatarsal arch has dropped, leaving me with very painful metarsal heads. I suffered for a couple of years with that, thinking that I might some day just have to stop walking. I was successful in completely alleviating the problem with the FootSmarts, but then I was faced with finding proper replacements when they began to wear out. Thank God I found these Viva Mini's.These may not be suitable for everybody, especially folks whose arches are lower than mine. The arch support on these Viva Mini's is pretty high, and the plastic bottom of the insoles is stiff and allows very little flex. Although I like them that way, that could create an issue for some. Also, many buyers complain about the metatarsal bump on these, and similar insoles, saying that it feels like they're walking with a rock in each shoe. But I would bet that's mostly due to buying the incorrect size. The pad should not extend under the metarasal heads. That's just asking for problems. Instead, the pads should only contact the fleshy portion of the foot BEHIND the metatarsal heads. Check YouTube. There are a couple of very informative videos explaining that.Bottom line, these Viva Mini's are perfect for me, and I promise, I'll be buying more. In fact, I just ordered a second pair today!
