We weirdly love these lightbulbs. I bought them because I was sick of people leaving the landing light on and keeping me awake because the light comes under the door. I wasn’t entirely sure this would work but it is a huge improvement. We now just leave the light switch on all the time and the thing that I think we all particularly like about this PIR set up is that it sort of gradually fades on. It’s hard to describe but it’s very soothing. It’s also very functional. It seems to be able to detect us as we are coming up the stairs perfectly. There’s been no issues with a lack of light and there have been no issues with the lightbulb being left on. Also worth noting that it is indeed warm white and as far as I’m concerned, the perfect luminescence. Lights the landing up without being operating theatre bright or too harsh a white. A family member suggested that we actually replace all the lightbulbs in the house with these – but they are particularly bad at turning the lights off! :-) Nevertheless, I’m glad that this is a 2 pack because I will be deploying the other lightbulb somewhere else where the light gets left on!

We needed a bulb that solved all our problems (teen and husband dosnt like the light on, on the landing/ I prefer a light for toilet trips). It took us 20 mins to figure out how to set it up turned out it was too bright for it to come on / once we shut all doors it came on. It works perfectly, its easy, comes on as soon as I get to my bedroom door then gos off after 60seconds saving energy and money. It stays off in the day also. The only reason for a 4star rating is because I think it maybe too bright for the landing (maybe I bought the wrong type 🤷🏻‍♀️). Its value for money as you get 2 in the pack so we have a spare bulb. I would buy again and recommend to others.

Well packaged, as described and easy install as a direct replacement. This lamp has a soft start, so it is great for the hall, stairs, landing and kind to the eyes going from the dark to light. From off going to full light is milliseconds, but a nice touch which makes a difference. The colour temperature is warm, so if you want a warm coloured light rather than a colder daylight glow for your setting then this is the one for you. The sensor is very good, perhaps a little too good at picking up movement, but this is not a problem. The lamp switches on when movement is detected and stays on for around a minute before it switches off. The light remains on when you are moving and in the detection range, no frantic arm waving has been needed from what I can tell. This is an absolute must with children in the house, so no more chasing them around the house switching off lights! Pets will also be detected by the sensor, so the light will turn on when they are moving around in the same way as their hoomans do. The light produced is good, no noticeable flickering and the light produced looks like a standard light bulb. Two lamps in a pack, if you need something that works then I recommend giving this a try.

I was dubious about these but I’ve put them in the garage and they react well when I walk in. Of course they do go off after about a minute so wave your hands about and they’re back.

Installed two of these bulbs in the house, so far working very well. Time out after about 1 minute and switch on quickly when motion detected. Low energy usage and reasonably bright when switched on. Good price and well packaged. Very pleased with this product.

Ideal for application Easy to fit

The motion sensor works fine, but the light sensor is set incorrectly. Even the smallest amount of light causes the bulb to not turn on at all. The sensitivity of this sensor is set very wrong. It does not matter in the case of a passage from room to room or corridor, because a person only passes there, so it is only a problem in complete darkness. Then the bulb works and everything is fine. Unfortunately, when you install it in a room where the door is open and a minimum amount of light comes in from another room, the bulb will not turn on (pantry next to the kitchen, wardrobe, garage, etc.). I think a simple solution would be to install a small knob to adjust it. I even tried to cover the place where the sensor is visible to limit the inflow of light, but it didn't help. This sensor is inside the bulb, so light reaches it from all sides.
