What is Pollination? (Big Science Ideas) Paperback – Illustrated, October 1, 2010

This is a great book. It has everything needed to understand the life cycle of plants, including pollination, flowers, fruit plants, and pollinators. It contains great illustrations, and the information is presented very clearly so hesitant readers have no trouble with the reading flow. It talks about the importance of pollinators in the growth of plants, which in turn bear fruits needed for our survival.

I chose this book because it appeared to be one I can use with my preschool students to explain what pollination is, who the pollinators are and why it is important to protect all our insects, birds, people and the environment. This is a very colorful and easy to explain book. Children who can read will enjoy reading this.

Very good material for teaching elementary school age children.

This is such a wonderful little book explaining the pollination process to children and all things related to it.
