I consider myself a professional photographer. I bought this book just because I thought it might be fun to look at. In reading some of what it says made a lot of sense. And it gave me a lot of ideas that I never thought of. So this was a good investment for me.

If you are new to photography and have an DSLR camera, this book is for you. It explains all the important things you need to know about your DSLR camera in an easy to read format.

The book had a lot of information

The text is very easy to understand and it's not wordy. It gives very simple instructions as to how to use the camera features, and more.

I might have read a bit more before ordering this one. Not that it isn't a good one, just a bit too basic for me. I also purchased the one "for Dummies" and found that to be a lot more informative, with a greater level of technical info, with a nice focus on this specific camera

What a great start to using your DSLR. Read it thoroughly you will not be intimidated. I wish I had bought this first. I recommend this to anyone buying a camera no matter the make or model.

I am brand new to the DSLR camera and this was very helpful. Easy read for a new DSLR owner.
