Pretty pencils
The gem on the end is a nice eye-catching accent, the graphite is decent for taking notes and sketching ideas in meetings, and I like the look and feel of these in the hand. I first found them in a gift shop and bought just a few, then was happy to find them here for a decent price for 12 pencils, instead of over $2 each at the shop.

Colors are mostly pastel
I'm a little disappointed. The actual colors of most the crystals are very light and don't look like the photo (except for the green, red, blue and black). The other colors are pastel pink, lavender, pale mint green and a very pale blue. There's a light yellow and two others in two shades of amber. I'll keep them, but when I asked what the actual colors were, I would have appreciated an answer.

Gems do not stay on
Horrible design . One gem just fell off after opening Didn’t even sharpen being 4 other gems were sliding off. Not worth money if i have to glue them back
