Montegrappa decided to celebrate the arrival in Europe of the America's Cup after more than a century and a half (32nd edition), in the waters of Valencia, off the east coast of Spain. The tree is the structural element inspired by the shape of the pen. The particular design of the clip and the vertical bars that decorate the stem recall the streamlined profile of the tops along the boat tree, while the design of the cap takes the model of the hull. The cap and barrel are coated with a non-slippery black lacquer. The caseback is decorated with the America's Cup logo.
