easy install, very secure and strong, well built. better make sure anyone staying in your house knows how to open them from the inside in case there's a fire as they will likely have problems if not taught if there is an emergency.

these locks are great, i installed recently and they way they work make the door secure and unlike chains does not break easily , it was simple to install and came with the hardware to do it ,

I would highly highly recommend these for anyone looking to feel safe in their home or who has young children, and they don’t want them to be able to open the door to get out. These are very strong and durable, come with the screws needed, but we added longer screws. Fits perfectly in our doorway and the lock is a little confusing at first on how to use. I feel safe in my home and safe. My child cannot open the door without me knowing. The lock works great after years of use.

These are outstanding. Low profile. Easy to "operate". I had to chisel out notches for them, but most reviewers said that wasn't necessary for their purposes. Came with 2 sets of different size screws. Excellent security addition for $20. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased the TOYFUL 2 Pack Door Reinforcement Locks with 8 Screws, and while they are effective in reinforcing the security of my doors, I have come across another brand, Steinwhale, which I find slightly better in terms of quality and performance. The TOYFUL Door Reinforcement Locks offer a sturdy construction and provide an additional layer of security to my doors. The locks are designed to prevent forced entry by reinforcing the door frame and making it more resistant to external pressure. The package includes the necessary screws for installation, which is a convenient feature. However, after comparing them with the locks from Steinwhale, I found a few areas where the TOYFUL locks could be improved. Firstly, the build quality of the locks is good, but it doesn't feel as solid and durable as the ones from Steinwhale. The material used in the TOYFUL locks is decent, but it could be sturdier to provide greater confidence in its long-term effectiveness. Secondly, the installation process of the TOYFUL locks could be more user-friendly. While the included screws are sufficient, I found that the instructions provided were not as clear as I would have liked. Clearer instructions with diagrams or video tutorials would be helpful, especially for those who are less experienced with DIY projects. On the positive side, the TOYFUL Door Reinforcement Locks do perform their intended function well. Once installed, they add an extra level of security to my doors and give me peace of mind. The locks are easy to operate and provide an additional barrier against potential intruders.

Installed this for a little added security. It doesn't make the door kick proof, just stronger. It's also a quick way to "lock" your door i.e., use it instead of the regular lock during the day. You could also use it as a bathroom "lock." I had to mortise (cut out) a space for the hinge part to fit/seat properly. I used a utility knife and wood chisel, but you could probably get away with using a sharp standard head screwdriver if you were careful. The hinge only needs to sit in only 1/16th of an inch, so take care to do it the right way. Package comes with two of these, each takes four screws. The lock was stiff at first, but a little lube and a little bit of working it in loosened it up and now it's smooth and easy to operate. It will also easily keep toddlers from opening the door until they get tall enough to reach it. Keep in mind that, when this lock is deployed, if someone isn't on the other side of the door who is able to open this thing, you won't get in without completely destroying the door frame, if it's wood, or by going through a window. If your door frame is metal, you'll need another way to get in. (metal door frames probably don't get mortised). Someone could lock you out of the house if this is the only door you have to get in, and it will slow rescue services down. It's a good product, but just think through some scenarios with your household. A senile person or bratty kid could raise your blood pressure.

We have several young grandkids who are at the age they’re tall enough and have figured out doorknobs and how to get inside closets and rooms they don’t need to be in, OR outside the house whenever they want to. These locks quickly put an end to that haha. They also add another layer of security on the exterior doors whenever you want to use them. They are really strong, and they’re also not hideous looking either. They blend right in with white trim, and are very durable. Don’t believe any of the reviews about how hard they are to put on, don’t work correctly, or that the screws are no good. They work fine and are easy as can be to put on. We have them on all our exterior doors now, as well as other doors and closets in our house.

Very easy to install. I just struggle the first time trying to understand how does lock or unlock. It has been working good.
