Ikea Sultan Lade Slatted Bed Base for Full/double Size Beds

People who own Ikea slats cannot get these to work. You have to have a center beam down the middle of your bed frame just to start. I bought them for $151.00. It costs me $86.00 to ship them back for a return and now I am fighting with ikea to get my original money back. I mailed them back UPS I have tracking proving they received them, but they are dragging their feet to give me a credit to my bank account. What the heck I payed them the day I ordered them, they should pay me back they day they got them back. I am out several hundred dollars because I had to buy slats that would work and pay a fortune to mail these back. I will not deal with Ikea ever again. Our bed buying experience ended up costing us over a month of time and about $400 more than I budgeted for. I googled these slats to try and make them work and everyone who wrote about them said they are crap! They said they would not even work on Ikea beds. Stay away!

i had to buy the slatted bed base online after picking up my bed from Ikea and realizing i missed a piece. I would have just gone back to the store but i live in Kentucky and the nearest store is in ohio. cant say much about the product its just wood pieces of 2 x 4 with a type of tape/bandage stapled to it to the the pieces the same distance from each other. Would have ordered from ikea but unless you live near a store the shipping and handling charge is absolutely ridiculous.

I had no problems with the base. It's sturdy and strong. Just make sure you get the box spring to go on top! Or you can hear the boards move underneath your mattress.

Purchased for our son. It was easy to set up and he is very happy with it. He has a foam mattress on top of it and it all works quite well

This product worked miracles.. gave the much needed supportunder cushions of a very old couch and a love seat.

The slats are awful. They slip out all the time . You can't change the sheets with it not falling apart!

I bought this from the Ikea store along with my Ikea bed. I love my bed, but the base slips out of place all the time. I'd say it happens in multiple places daily. I now wish I'd bought the more expensive model. I'd recommend going with a different model if you're looking for a base, but I have no complaints with my Ikea bed.

I have king size bed supported by two slated bases. Every other day the base keeps falling off the beam making the bed uneven. One of the worst designs I've seen. Not recommended if you have kids who would love to jump on top of the bed.
