Good sights
They are nice sights but could be a little tighter with the aiming aspect. There as a little more “play” looking down the barrel. I actually put these on a flint lock. It had 5/16 sights so I had to file the bevel down but it worked. They are bright and would work great for a shotgun with a 3/8 dove tail.

Replacement 10/22 sights
The factory sights on a new 10/22 made me go crosseyed... These fiber optic sights are what should come on these rifles from the factory. Visibility feels like a modern semi auto pistol and sight acquisition is twice as fast. Installation was wasn't too tough if you have the right tools. Bench vise or c-clamps with assorted punches will get the job done. No need to file the dovetail or the sight itself, just a few nervous taps and it fit snug at center. I was concerned the long rear sight was going to interfere with the takedown feature of this rifle, but it cleared without issues.

Nice upgrade for an old Ruger 10/22
Purchase these sights for my +30-year-old Ruger 10/22, whose rear sight got damaged. I wouldn't call installation "easy" but it was a straightforward. There are some good YouTube videos on how to replace the sights on a 10 22. Get a good punch set, and follow these videos, and you'll be fine. Getting the sites adjusted and zeroed in at the range was easy. And the fiber optics make the sights very easy to see.

Nice bang for the buck but beware of front sight install difficulties some may encounter.
Nice upgrade from the stock garbage. I bought my kid a 10/22 takedown April 2018. I was on the fence to buy a vortex viper red dot for it or just replace the iron with something a little easier to use. I decided to keep the takedown compact and go with replacement iron sights. They appear to be a quality piece. The one thing I would do is to make sure you use some blue loctite on the screws, otherwise you will lose them! They are loose fitting and VERY easy to spin without some blue on the threads. The other thing to note is the install. The rear site took me less than 2 mins to install. The front...well that is a different story! My sight removal tool I use for my pistols wouldnt work (no surprise) so I got out the hammer and brass punch set. I beat the heck out of the front sight while tightly in a vise....no dice! 20 mins of trying to knock that sucker loose and I pulled on the dremel with a cut off wheel install! I made a vertical cut right down the center of the sight...cutting the sights almost in half....just shy so that I didnt cut into the barrel. One wack with a hammer and steel punch and off that sucker flew into two pieces. Installing the new sight wasnt too bad. Started it with a brass punch and then used a vice with 2 small pieces of plastic and tightened the vise pressing the site into place. 3-4 mins to install the front...20 to take off the stock front. Less than 30 mins start to finish and it was done. If you dont have a vise and a dremel, I would send this off to a gunsmith for install.

Great upgrade for Ruger 10/22
These upgraded sights for the Ruger 10/22 work very well. They're easy to install with the correct tools, a hammer and a brass drift (punch) will removed the factory sights, and using the same tools to install these sights. The rear sight has an anchor screw on the dovetail to secure the sight to the barrel, as we have had some of the dove tail slots machined in the barrel that are a bit on the loose side. That set screw makes sure that the sight won't move. These give efficient adjustment on the elevation (up and down) as well as well as the windage (left to right), there is another sight set that doesn't have the windage adjustment for less, these are a better option for a few dollars more.

Can't Beat It For the Price
The Williams "Firesight" set for 3/8" dovetail grooved barrels (mostly 22 rifles) are a fantastic alternative to standard black sights. The green rear and red front optics privide an outstanding sight picture. Easy to install. I place the sights in the freezer for an hour or 2 prior to installing so they contract enough to drift in without any damage or marring to the sights. Then I heat the barrel grooves with a hair drier to expand those a little. Everything taps in smoothly. Once installed they are set. Made from quality steel, I highly recommend them. I have purchsed several sets and continue to recommend them.

Not Strong
The first time I took my 22lr to the range, the rear sight came apart. The base stayed atta he'd to the rifle, but the piece that houses the two green fiber optics together flew off somewhere. I was unable to find it, as it landed in the grass somewhere. I'm disappointed in this sight. My expectations were too high. Update: I ended up ordering another set of these sights since the last set lost the green rear sight piece. Today these sights are suppose to be delivered to my house. They just now shipped this morning. Terrible business to deal with. I should not have to buy a replacement set of sights and at the very least, they should be delivered when they are scheduled to be delivered, otherwise I would have gone with Truglo or Hiviz instead. I'm never buying anything from Williams again.

Great upgrade
I installed these on an old Lakefield 22lr bolt rifle. The rear sight was a breeze. The front took some fitting but nothing major, an Emory board would be enough. I eyeballed the alignment then fine tuned at the range. The front sight is set but the back can be adjusted for wind age and elevation via a couple set screws. It took me 3 groups to “sight in.” I like the 3 dot setup too, the contrast makes it easy to quickly level the sights on target. I set them to lollipop at 50yds so going out further is just a bit of milling. Significant improvement for a great price.
