I have it on all my six cars to the transmission clean and free of metal shavings .I change it evey 30000 miles .

The media could not be loaded.  I installed this filter onto the return line of my transmission before cleaning my solenoids and shift assemblies, I could already feel the shift difference once I drove it, today I cleaned my shift solenoids, and shift assemblies(lock up converter, clutch pressure solenoids) shifting through the gears while parked, I no longer feel the rough gear engaging going into reverse 👍 I plan on ordering a 2nd gear transmission pressure switch as wellUpdated12-5-22After cleaning my solenoid screens, I noticed now I don't have a hard shift into reverse, and I don't have a flare shift from 3rd-4th, and my torque converter lock up seems a lot more firm, I would get a code for p0740( the screens would get clogged every couple days) the inline filter definitely working👍

Can say much other than it fit well on my 1998 Ford Taurus without any modifications to the hoses, as it's the exact length and the connecting ends are the same diameter as the stock filter. Installation is simple, but you may have to bleed the air from the system once everything is back in place. There's a flow direction arrow, so you must make sure it's installed correctly. For example, on the 1998 Ford Taurus, this in line filter is installed on the steering system return line. So, the arrow should be positioned pointing towards the pump. As far as I can tell, the filter is doing its job.

I used this as a power steering fluid filter for my 2005 Chevy Silverado. Installation was pretty straight forward. I simply installed it inline with the low pressure return line using fuel injection hose clamps to ensure a tight seal. I flushed the power steering system and added fresh new fluid. I figured it would be a good idea to install a filter to help keep the new fluid clean.

Installed on a 98 and 01 Toyota 4Runner's on the return line coming from the radiator. I wish they came with some constant pressure spring clamps but the screw type hose clamps I had worked fine. After flushing the old trans fluid out with with new fluid but not dropping the pan, replacing the screen, and not cleaning the magnet; I figured this was good insurance to keep the fluid clean and ferrous metal shavings trapped instead of running through the system.

Filtered my automatic transmission fluid clean. That's convenient for me since my other transmission filter is internal. This helps keep my fluid cleaner and guard again more wear .super easy to install.

Amazon said this filter would fit the suction hose for Subaru Outback power steering. The connectors are way too small.
