Both my son and I enjoy this book

Great series
My 8 year old loves these books! They are full of great information and easy to read and follow along. I enjoy reading them together and discussing the history in them!

They are easy to get through and informative
My son loves all the books in the Who Was/ What was series. They are easy to get through and informative. When I asked him to review it he gave it 4 stars. He goes to a Catholic school so already knows a lot about Jesus- maybe that is why he didn't find it as interesting/ didn't learn a lot that he didn't already know. When I asked him if it was still worth reading he said yes.

Seems to be biblically accurate
I’m no theologian, but I have been studying the Bible fairly intently for about 40 years. I didn’t see anything in this book that goes against what the Bible says. I think the author did a really good job of portraying the life of Jesus accurately. I especially liked the way the author talked about what Christians believe without bashing them.
