Been on the hunt for my perfect lip mask, since normal ChapSticks or chapstick derivatives kind of worked but only just. Nothing went further to really improve the lips. I had tried Laneige and a few of the "dupes" on the market that people swore by. But most seemed to be placebo effect as well - lips felt and looked good while the product was on, but once it wore off or was wiped off (assuming they even lasted through the night to have some product left), the lips went back to feeling dry and in need of help. Plus they were all so glossy. I don't need my lips to be glossy when I'm sleeping. I need them to be moisturizing and smoothing. And I don't need fake sweet flavoring that is all I can taste while it's one and causes a headache. Saw a number of people swearing by this so tried it.Note: the tub I received is the new formula so if you are attached to the old, I've heard the new is slightly different/not as great as the old. Honestly, I'm kind of glad I got the new version to start so I am not disappointed when I have to reorder. Because I will be reordering when I run out. If this formula is not as great as the old, I can't imagine how much better it was because the one I got is phenomenal. It's unflavored so no headaches. Not super glossy. The tub is plentiful - more than the others I've tried. It's thicker too than the others, in a good way. The mask actually stays on all night and when I wipe the excess off in the morning, my lips still feel hydrated and soft. No lingering dryness.It has a waxy feel on my finger I used to apply it after putting on. I'm going to steal the applicator from my other lip masks to use but the waxy feeling tells me it's sealing in the moisture which is nice.Some folks have commented that it's sticky - I find it significantly less sticky than most other lip masks.Highly recommend.

Well I've tried so many different brands and types of lip balms and soothing agents and many of them have been really nice and definitely keep lips moisturized but to me, THIS is the 'mother of 'em all'! It's thick, and a bit sticky, so if that concept really bothers you I'd go with something different.But.... this stuff is amazing and I use it every day and every night. I transferred some of it into a really small plastic travel container to keep in my purse to use whenever I want feel like I need it at work, or just whereever I am (because I've been addicted to chapstick-type products, etc., for soooo long....)This stuff is different, tho, in that it not only moisturizes, it provides a terrific barrier for your lips. And yes, it's thick and gooey, but once it's settled into your lips, it's WONDERFUL! And the soothing, moisturizing aspect absolutely lasts the LONGEST of any product I've used over the years. Highly, highly recommend. (And it has no scent and no flavor that I can detect - it's incredibly soothing and healing.)

Great product for night use. It is thick and rich and a little goes a long way. It helps my lips stay soft and chap free. Good for going out in cold weather, too. Very protective. Fragrance free to my nose!

If you are like me who hates reapplying lip balms over and over again and carry them around with you everyday, then give this a try. Just one application at night and wipe it off in the morning to notice your lips are super smooth and soft all day long until next application. I suffered from cracked lips for a long time now and nothing seemed to work so far but finally i have a winner!!One Issue with the product though its super sticky and strong moisturizer, it could get tough to even get rid of it in the morning without a proper lip scrub. Yes just washing it off with water is not going to work bdw!

I have chronically dry lips. No matter what treatments I've tried or how much water I drink, they always have been unattractively dry, cracked and flaking.This mask is the ONLY product that has ever worked for me. I have used so, so many in the last 25 years. I have never claimed a product worked for me overnight, but this truly has. The first night, I applied this on my clean lips and the next morning they were pillowy soft and smooth.I will always use this the night before I intend to wear a matte lip product and the compliments I get now! I didn't before. Never before.I keep this on my night stand and apply it with my finger right before bed. It's very sticky, much like petroleum jelly. No issues with it transferring to pillow case.The scent is pleasant and very faint. The cap is an easy twist off. The pot itself holds a generous amount, 25g = approx. 5 teaspoons (for reference a popular petroleum based lip product has about 7.5g).At first, I used this product every night for a week. The next few weeks, I used it every other night. A month later, I use it only as needed! This product not only resolves my issue but has made an overall difference over time. This is EXTREMELY important, because many Products aim to keep you dependent on the product. Meaning, as soon as you discontinue use, your lips are back as they were or sometimes worst off.I can't believe this product even exists, and at this incredibly low price point.PROS:- It works quickly, gently, and effectively.- Makes an overall difference over time.- It is affordable.- Generous amount- Pleasant smellCONS:- The ingredients list is intimidating. NOT AT ALL an all-natural product.***UPDATE - March 2019***I am still using this product as needed, approx. once once or twice a week overnight. CAN’T BELIEVE I am still using my original jar purchased over a year and a half ago! Although I’m almost out, it still smells pleasant and still works as well as the very first time. I can’t believe the success I’ve had with this. It’s magic.***UPDATE - December 2019***STILL using original jar. I am only now repurchasing after 2 years of effective use. Incredible value for money.
