Just installed these on my sons 2000 Ford Ranger, two of he old ones had no rebound action and one fell apart when he removed it, so it's tough to compare the ride to old Monroes that were on the truck, BUT, these ride very well, and it feels like a new truck coming from the old blown out shocks... those were made in USA so much be pretty old/originals, not sure on the longevity of these Chinese shocks, and there was air in these that you could feel when hand cycling. Will update if these fail if I can! Good shock for the truck their on.

Shocks were exact fit for my 2018 Ram 1500, got rid of the 1800 wagon ride feeling and smooth just like factory shocks.

Fit perfect

Shock only lasted 10 weeks and 3.5k miles. May have failed sooner just now noticed. I am an ASE certified tech and installed this on my personal vehicle.

Fit is fine, but be advised, all the hardware may or may not be included. I had to make a trip to the local hardware store to get upper mounting hardware as it was not included and differed from OEM thread pitch.
