Gorgeous set of skates. They’re fantastic quality, very sturdy and I felt like my foot was really secure. The metal chassis and adjustable stopper are a major bonus.Comfortable to wear and I got a great Amazon warehouse deal so also great value for money.

they look beautiful and feel sturdy

I was really disappointed in these skates, first of all they look well put together and it was true to size, i got a size uk6 which is my shoes size and i had a tiny bit of room at the toe. Boy did these hurt my feet!They are very narrow, I wouldn’t class my feet as wide, just standard i guess and no matter how i adjusted the laces they really pinched my big toe bone- i don't have bunions but if i continued with these i think they certainly would have given me them! The metal eyelets were just digging into my toe and caused some pain- and thats even before i skated.I tried thick socks and thin socks but neither made any difference- all i did was stand on the carpet so skating would have been a disaster!I thought that maybe if the tongue was wider at the bottom it may have cushioned from the eyelets a bit more. The boot is also very stiff, now i know a lot of these skates need breaking in but the pain they caused after just trying them on was enough not to try and skate!I also noticed that the trucks seem to be off slightly in the boot- i compared this with one of my old pair of skates and my old one is more centre to the front of the boot than the derby one and it was the same comparing to a friends boot too.( see pictures )So due to the fit and the stiffness i have had to send them back which is a shame.If you have a very slim foot they may suit you fine.
