These heads have absolutely the most even water distribution I’ve seen with any of the several kinds I’ve worked with. They have really made a difference on our lawns.

These pretty much replace any type of sprinkler head from different manufacturers. Remove your old one and screw on the new one. Takes a little bit to adjust since there are no directions. I have never used these types of nozzles, so I had to google how to adjust them. If you look at the nozzle side, there is a small white line. This line has to be aligned with the edge of your grass/ sidewalk. So, if you're installing this nozzle on your sidewalk (pointing towards the street) area grass the line has to be on the left side of your body. If its pointing from the street into your grass, the line has to be pointed in the opposite direction. If you google it, then it will make sense. To adjust the spray pattern, you push down on the nozzle with the water on. To adjust how far to spray, you rotate the small black thing under the nozzle. Took a bit to adjust, but once I figured it out, they work fine. Have not had any clogs yet and hopefully it does save me some water. Wish it would come with directions. Therefore the 4 stars.

Started with Hunter MP Rotator heads, which performed abysmally - constant clogs, inconsistent spray, a pain to adjust. Tried a couple of R-Van heads and was sold. These are better in every way. Easy to adjust, easy to clean, spray stays consistent over time, even with hard well water. We have replaced every Hunter MP Rotator head with these R-Van heads.

Easy to install and adjust. No more wasted water getting blown away in the wind or even slight breeze from the old spray head. I would buy again and recommend to anyone.

I was expecting more from these heads, the maximum distance is less than 6 ft. My pressure is right.

No problems. Very easy to replace.

I am keeping these because they produce a pretty pattern, but I could not adjust it go beyond 5 feet. My PSI is maintained at 40-60PSI, but I am not sure if the 1/2" pipelines are too restrictive? Although not recommended, I have no other choice but to mix these rotary sprays with standard nozzles since droplets collide with each other, but I have no other choice as I will not have total coverage. We'll see what happens down the road.
