ADDIS Superdry Refill (4 Pc)

For decades the ADDIS mop head refills have been of a yellow sponge-like material - this tended to wear out pretty quickly but at least it picked up all of the dust and grit etc. The latest "green" version seems to be allergic to dust and grit so is pretty useless. I only placed an order with this supplier because their illustration on the Amazon web-site showed the YELLOW versions which I cannot buy in rural Cornwall - but they supplied the GREEN version which of course I sent back straight away

Did you know .... that the official refil is more cheaper than the unofficial .... i'm not sure why that is however i have never had issues with these, yes they do break apart if you go over rough surfaces, not tiles, but that's because it's like a sponge. however i can't slate this product either for not drying out properly as the handle on the main product you buy it for doesnt squeeze the sponge hard enough, so therfore i guess im saying it's a great prouduct that can only be improved by the main device clamping harder no adjustment to the refil is needed.

The sponge is different from before, The new sponge is not hardwaring at all - after one use started to get holes and crumble. I've used it a handful of times and already having to replace it as the green sponge is crumbling when I mop and leaving green bits behind and gone all soggy! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND! Please bring back the old sponges that were around before.

These refills wear out far too quickly and just disintegrate. Using the mop on a daily basis only to wipe over the shower floor in my wet room, each sponge lasts just over one month. I don't call that value for money and if you work out what that actually costs over a year it's ridiculous. Rather like buying a cheap printer but having to pay lots of money for ink cartridges. So now I'm on the hunt for a better mop which will be cheaper in the long term.

Wonder why it is cheaper to buy two individual ones rather than a pack of two?
