I live in FL, and the ac in my 700 sq ft apartment won’t be repaired for a couple of weeks. I have a portable unit in the entry room but due to poor insulation, it only cools the immediate area; The back rooms were still humid, and inside temps reached 78 throughout the day. I decided to order the Vornado 660 and it has made an incredible difference in keeping the back rooms cooler. The inside temp hasn’t exceeded 74 since I’ve begun using it to circulate the air. I was hesitant to spend so much money on a fan, but this little product will easily become a daily essential. I went with the 660 after the many reviews of a quiet output while I was thoroughly researching the difference between the models. 10/10 recommend

Vornado is one of my die hard brands. I have a tiny one. I have two of this one. I even have a space heater too. Vornado is a reliable, consistent brand, and makes my life more comfortable no matter what time of the year. Whatever you are looking for, Vornado has what you need.The large fan I am reviewing right now is powerful, no matter which setting it is on. It is easy to clean. It is durable. It has a sleek look and wonderful air flow. Keeps whatever room I am using it in with moving air.I personally have a portable AC unit as well and I love to use this fan in tandem.Energy efficient.You cannot go wrong with a vornado product.

Fantastic fan, very powerful. It arrived on time and has been working daily for almost a year. It really helps to move the air in a larger space, say 700 square feet, and fan volume at the highest speed is respectable, not too overpowering. It works great when the a/c is having a hard time keeping up on those very hot days. Great price, I did not purchase the alexa version, but I"m very tempted.

Works great. Comfortable to have on. Only odd thing is the way you have to adjust the fan itself. Unplug before doing any adjustments or being too close to the fan.

You can see my old review of this item below, but a little over a year after purchasing this item I have to update my score from 2/5 to 4/5.I rent and my landlord doesn't care about energy efficiency or insulation so:(a) I have a crummy window AC that's installed incorrectly in my wall (and it doesn't drain properly (AND it's not rated for this size room anyway!));(b) my windows are not insulated and so a large, old hurricane window (110" x 50") gets 12 hours of direct sunlight each day; and finally(c) my lease forbids me from doing anything about either of these problems.I live in Miami, so (needless to say) my apartment gets uncomfortably warm during the summer. But yesterday I came out into my living room, where this circulator hangs out, and it was just unbearable. I couldn't figure out why immediately, but then I noticed that this circulator was off (there was probably a power outage -- this device has a surge protector in it and needs to be reactivated after any flicker).I turned this back on amd within an hour my apartment was back to what I expected -- too warm for true comfort but cool enough to put the ambient temperature out of my mind.So whatever my initial complaints, it is clear to me now that this circulator does, indeed, help cool my apartment.
